Haruka sat down his bag and kicked off his shoes. (Name) waited in the doorway, watching as he took his time. She had an apron on and a utensil in her hand. "I'm home." He mentioned but she already knew, since she was staring right at him.

"Finally home. I didn't know the club was going to take that long. Looks like I made dinner at the right time then!" She laughed and disappeared around the corner, back to the stove with the sizzling fish on top. She looked over as he quietly stepped in the room and stood beside her, watching it cook and just staring at it. He kept trying to take over, but she fought back.

He tilted his head, his blue eyes blinking at her. "Mackerel, right?"

She nodded, smiling at him. "Of course, I always know what to cook for you." She giggled, turning the fish over and then covering it with a lid. Her eyes widened when she felt soft lips press against her cheek.

"I'm going to go lay down. Wake me up when it's done." His hand brushed hers in the slightest way and her cheeks flared up. She almost forgot how to breath, his sudden and unusual actions catching her off guard. Shaking her head, she continued to cook while she was dazed and thinking it over too much.

----

"Haruka! Haruka, wake up! Haru~"

(Name) sighed as she crouched next to his bed, poking and prodding at him like a needy kitten. Her head flopped down on his arm, tired of trying to wake him. Standing up, she reached her arm out, going to attempt one last time before giving up. He rolled on his side, startling her and his hand grasped her wrist lightly, but just enough to pull her down.

She gasped and tried to keep quiet when he wrapped his arms around her, his nose nuzzling into her neck. Her heart was pounding loud enough, she was sure he'd wake, but he didn't. Reaching up slowly, her fingers ran through his hair, softly playing with it while she closed her eyes, leaning her cheek to his forehead.

"_______." He moved away from her and her eyes shot open, feeling embarrassed that she almost drifted off to sleep. "You're very warm."

Swallowing the dryness in her throat, (Name) nodded. "You too." Then she remembered why she was waking him in the first place and she sat up quickly. "Dinner is ready. I thought you'd be hungry, and I didn't want it to get cold."

Haruka shook his head and pulled her back down, but to where they were facing each other. "Just a little bit longer."

She stared into his eyes and nodded, smiling and leaning her forehead to his. She couldn't sat no, and she couldn't lie to herself the fluttering in her chest. "Okay, a little longer."
