Foxspirit was woken.

"Go back to sleep, Runningsun." She murmured.

"No, you don't understand! Listen!" The yellow tom hissed.

Foxspirit's ears pricked up. There was ragged breathing outside. Foxspirit scrambled to her paws.

"Who is it? WindClan? ShadowClan?"

"They don't have a smell." A brown and cream  tom meowed.

Foxspirit hadn't noticed that the senior warrior was awake. She opened her mouth to scent the air.

"You're right, Molewhisker!" Her voice was filled with fear.

"Jump 'em on three." Runningsun ordered.

Foxspirit crouched inside the den.

"One...two...three!"

Foxspirit leaped out of the den with a yowl, that was cut off by her strangled cry.

The cats were made of black mist.

And they had no face.

-------------------------

I stood atop a tree, zombies growling below.

Oh God, what have I done?

I'm going to find Rory.

I shouldn't have left.

Rory is my first priority.

Maybe I could go back later?

I shook my head, trying to clear it. No effect.

An arrow whizzed past my face.

I cursed under my breath. My mind tried to make me feel better.

By reminding me of the song I was listening to the day I came here. Some Nights, by Fun.

Some nights I stay up cashing in my bad luck.

I sidestepped and an arrow went past.

Some nights I call it a draw.

Some nights I wish that my lips could build a castle.

Some nights I wish they'd fall off.

But I still wake up.

I still see your ghost.

Oh lord,

I'm still not sure what I stand for.

I heard an arrow coming, but I didn't see it until it hit me.

I cursed under my breath and hissed in pain. The arrow dissapeared within seconds.

"Minecraft logic." I muttered.

I listened for more arrows. No sound of one being shot at me.

Actually, I couldn't hear a skeleton either. Good.

Wait.

I couldn't hear any zombies.

Or spiders.

Or any monster.

Well, weird, but good.

And then I saw a green light.

Well...

It was a little block of green light. As wide and tall as an apple, just not apple shaped.

It floated in the air, and it rotated like an Ender Crystal.
