I wake up, feeling Martin's warm fingers interlocked with mine. Everything from last night crashes onto me, although it doesn't seem so bad anymore. Martin is sleeping peacefully beside me, his dark chestnut hair messed up. I can hear him breathing loudly, only his breaths interrupting the stale silence, that has invaded the room.
Slowly and carefully, I untangle my finger from his and sit down on the edge of the bed, staring at the window opposite me. The sky is blue, filled with white, fluffy clouds, lazily floating around the sky. The sun shines through the window, giving light to the room and making it seem even more brighter and cleaner.
All of my thoughts rush to my head, when I notice my phone lying on the bedside table. Having fallen into deep sleep last night, I haven't noticed any more notifications or texts being sent to me and I guess, if I did, I would see them now. Grabbing it, I hesitantly unlock it, on purpose swiping slower than usual. I stare at the message app and at the number of texts, that I got sent last night.
23.
23 fucking texts!
I open the app, looking at the unknown ID. The chat is full of threats and evil texts, meant to seduce me. Slowly reading through them, my eyes stumble on a phrase, which I have least expected to see here, even though I could have been expecting anything from this person.
I know you, like no-one ever did. I am closer to you, than you think!
At first, I don't understand what the person has meant, although it seems very straight forward. I stare at the text for a few seconds, unable to say anything and just keeping on replaying the words in my head.
They know me.
They know me better, than anybody else.
Something is wrong with this and I have to find out what. They just gave away who they are, by texting me that phrase. I just have to think about somebody, that knows me better, than anybody else. I have to figure it out faster, just so everything will end faster.
I get off the bed, heading to the bathroom. Staring in the mirror, I notice my tired-but-happy reflection. Everything will be fine, it will all end soon and then, life will become a paradise, just like it should be. I untangle my hair from a messy bun and brush through it, painfully untangling knots. I decide to leave it down for today.
When I come back into the bedroom, Martin is already awake. He smiles at me, as I approach my suitcase.
"Morning," he says, while I kneel down in front of my suitcase to grab some nice clothes for today.
"Hey," I reply, going back into the bathroom. Dressing quickly, I think about today. For some reason, I feel a little anxious about visiting Martin's parents, considering that they're the parents of a famous celebrity and their reaction to me might be ranging from extreme pleasure to meet me to disgust. Hopefully, everything will go well.
On me, I have light-washed, high-waisted, skinny jeans, which I bought at H&M a few weeks ago. I am wearing a soft-pink top, which has a turtle neck and I love it. The material is thin and velvety, making it very comfortable. On my feet, I decide to put on a plain pair of white Converse, which are not even white anymore.
A few minutes later, we are sitting in the living room, eating large slices of pizza and laughing uncontrollably. Fortunately, Martin has no food in his fridge what so ever, excluding ice-cream and a few bottles of alcohol, so we had to order delivery.
"Once, there was this amazing fan," Martin bites into his pizza, while telling me about all kinds of his fans, "who had my face printed on a t-shirt. I had to take a photo with him."
