Michael was glad that, as he and Darcy made their way back into the building, she chose to thank him for having such a nice time over lunch, with a deliciously teasing kiss. Greg had got a phone call from his wife Yvette, just as they had left the restaurant and he had gone off on his own, allowing Michael to enjoy the sweet way his girlfriend stepped up close to him in the elevator, pressing her hands to his chest as she brushed her lips against his with a sensual moan of pleasure. And he couldn't help but notice the delicate yearning in her eyes as she smiled up at him softly. He could have made love to her there and then just for that look alone but instead, chose to enjoy just one more kiss and then reign in his desires. Darcy could have disagreed with him, but when he did it so beautifully, cupping her face in his warm hands and kissing her so delicately, letting it linger on as long as he could only to smile down at her with a mischievous glint, she didn't much want to. It was obvious that he was planning something as he flipped the emergency switch, to stop the elevator where it was, and gently gripped her waist, lifting her off her feet, until she had her legs firmly wrapped around his waist, she had a feeling that she was going to like it.

"Now...you have a lot of explaining to do, because I'm sure that somewhere..." Michael began, ignoring her knowing smile as he went on to remind her of the very curious topic she, herself had brought up, sending jolts of curiosity and hope through him. "Somewhere in all that innocent questioning about what Greg's daughter was called, someone mentioned already knowing the names that she would choose for her own kids." He reminded her, smiling when she giggled and hid her face in the curve of his neck, knowing that the only reason he was holding her as she was, was so that she couldn't run away to avoid his question.

"I don't remember that." She lied in a giggle, talking into his shoulder.

"Oh, but I do." He persisted, too excited by her admission to let her get away with not telling the entire truth about it, since she had so shyly clamed up just after saying that she had it all planned out. It was so intriguing he hadn't been able to think of much else since she had said it. "And I remember that same girl saying that she got the names from a book she bought just yesterday. Now, I might be mistaken but I'm sure the only book my girlfriend bought, was one on Japanese traditions so she could prepare for our trip to Tokyo. So, I'm thinking that she's made one too many presumptions about what kind of preparation I meant when I explain all this to her." Michael mentioned cheekily, making her giggle again, too scared to lift her head in case the words fell out of her mouth without her meaning them to. She wasn't sure whether to just admit it or not, but if she didn't, she might just have been sealing her fate as to the torture he would put her through until he knew. Lifting her head, she looked down at him curiously.

"If I tell you, you won't laugh at me?" She asked softly, his agreement not quite convincing her as much as she had hoped it would. But then again, he enjoyed being devious, especially to her and so she knew that whether he agreed or not, he was probably going to laugh at her. "And then you'll let me down?"

"Absolutely." He agreed, loving the look of innocence in her eyes as she explained.

"Well...it's Tai's fault really because we were talking last night over dinner and he started asking whether I thought we would still have met if it hadn't have been for me being at the boarding school..." Darcy began uncertainly, about to see an uncomfortable recognition in his eyes, that they might not have met otherwise but that he hadn't wanted her to go through what she had just to be with him. And he was so disturbed by the thought that he planted her back on her feet, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "...and then he started talking about you and your parents, saying that your father hated anyone calling you Michael, but that no-one ever did. And so naturally, I told him that it wasn't true, because I call you Michael." She admitted with a soft shrug, leaning back against the wall of the elevator with a smile that he adored, though still looking nervous about making such a personal, and revealing admission about herself.
