Darius
Alice stood on the opposite side of the arena from me, she was already in a fighting stance, ready to go. Her hair was messy and her pants were ripped down the side, I suppose it was from the impact she had with the wall that was now behind me. I have to give it to her though she kicked the crap out of Markus, that was a first, he's only lost one fight before and that was against me. After all I am the leader of top ranked guardians, actually I lead all of the guardians, besides the boss. He rules over all of us. Gabe and the rest of the medic squad returned after taking Markus to the infirmary, he gave me a thumbs up and returned to his post. My eyes went from brown to crimson, its time to begin. "Materialize." I said softly to command my darkness. It appeared all around me and started forming wings behind my back. I held out my arm and my element wrapped around my wrist like ribbon and started to form a sword in my palm. My element still lingered around the area I was standing in, this was only a small amount of my power. It felt magnificent, chills rushed down my back, the ancient element I was contracted with was now running through my veins.
I looked back over to Alice, her stance changed, she was standing there with her arms at her side. Her eyes weren't they same anymore, they were grey just as they were in the last match. Darkness swarmed around her feet, just as it did mine. She held out her arm with an open hand, her elements appeared from nowhere forming a long rod. I didn't hear her say anything, or even saw her mouth move. How is that possible? Everyone has to command they're element, but she didn't even speak. Her elements started to form a giant blade on the end of the rod, a scythe, long range. I heard Gabriel shout from the second floor, "Begin!" I ran at vampire speed to Alice and raised my sword to strike. She swung her scythe around and blocked my sword. I quickly used my darkness and masked myself so that she couldn't see me and flew over her. Her eyes followed me, then I felt a sharp pain in my side and traced it to a spike coming from the ground behind her. She jumped forward and turned around while I was caught in mid air, "I can see you, other people can't because they don't have the same element. But, I do, I can see you as clear as day." Her voice was stone cold, she's really determined to win. "Is that right?" I teleported behind her, my face was close to her ear. "How about now?" She began to turn her head and look in my direction, but I sent my knee into her side. She flew across the arena and landed on the floor.
She stood back up and grabbed her side, "Did you see that coming Alice?" She looked at me and put her hands back up in a fighting position. Blood started to trickle out of her mouth. Her scythe was across the arena next to my feet. "So, what are you gonna do now Alice?" I teleported behind her held my sword up ready to strike. I paused, I can't hurt her that badly, I'll kill her. I dropped my sword down to my side, she turned around and punched me in the stomach. I bent over and grabbed my stomach, she grabbed my head and kneed my face. It made me fall to the ground on one knee.
Alice
Darius was on his knees grabbing his face with one hand and his other was around his stomach. I guess when I started using my darkness again I gained more strength along with it. I saw blood falling down onto the ground from his face. A tear streamed down my my cheek. "I'm sorry Darius."
"Don't apologize, we're fighting." Darius looked at me and smiled. I took a few steps back so he could get up. He slowly raised up and darkness started to circle around him. His head suddenly snapped up from looking at the ground and his crimson eyes met mine. They were glowing more than usual, I'm so scared. The darkness that surrounded him flew in my direction and blocked everything from my sight except for him. I heard faint cheering before I could no longer hear anything. "D-Darius!" I tried screaming but it only came out as a faint whisper. I noticed that my body was totally numb, I couldn't move anything.
Darius seemed to inch closer and closer as I stared into his eyes with terror. A few tears slid down my cheek. "D-Darius, I'm scared... please! Stop!" The only thing that could still escape my mouth was another whisper. He was centimeters from me now. He raised one hand and wiped my tears off my cheek keeping eye contact the entire time. He leaned in to my neck and grazed it with his fangs. "Darius, no. Please." This was different then when he bit me before, he was acting the same. My heart started to race as he grabbed me by my hips to pull me in closer. I was finally able to move my arms, I tried to push him away but it was no use, he was stronger than me.
"D-Darius!"
"Don't be scared of me Alice." Chills ran down my spine at his words. His voice was cold. Then he bit down on my neck. It wasn't like the last times he's bitten me, it hurt more than usual. I let out a small moan and wrapped my arms around his shoulders.
Does it hurt?
Are you scared of me now?
My heart was pounding inside of my chest. I rested my head on his neck and closed my eyes. "No, I'm not." I said into his neck.
Are you sure? You're shaking.
I hugged him tighter and a tear slid down my cheek. "I'm not scared of you." My head started to pound and my limbs were growing weak. He bit down harder, it hurt like hell, and I let out a muffled moan. Another tear streamed down my face and my legs gave out. Darius fell to the floor with me still sucking my blood. Then, it was all over. I lost.
