Weeks passed and time did what it always does, heal things. Fords arm was back to normal, it still had some scaring from where the water boiled his flesh, other than that he was fine. Their love for one another was as strong as ever but Fidd wasn't the same after the warning from Bill. Fidd tended to keep distant from Ford, especially when it came to work. They still spent time together, shared meals and consistently kissed, hugged and told each over how much they loved one another. Things were fine but Fidd couldn't forget what happened, everyday he would have a flash backs to Bills warning. He was losing his mind and was at breaking point.

The day had come to test the portal.

Fidd's stomach twisted and turned as they stepped toward their creation. Both of them held an arm of the test dummy. Fords heart pounded in his chest, this was it, his greatest achievement. They stood there, on the verge of greatness or destruction, good or evil, heaven or hell. "Ready" Ford spoke out in confidence. They both let go of the dummy. They watched in amazement of what was happening for only a second. Fidd's arm was ensnared by the rope attached to the dummy. The portal was pulling him in. "Ahhh" Fidd screamed in fear. Ford grabbed hold of the rope. "I got ya buddy!" Ford gritted his teeth. He kept a firm grip on the rope, trying to save Fiddleford from whatever lay in wait on the other side of the gateway.

Fidd's head was pulled into the portal. He saw unspeakable things. Demons cackling and creatures being tortured. This was everything Fidd had feared. They built the gateway to hell and at the top of it all stood the triangular demon he knew all too well. Bill sat on a huge throne surrounded by demons admiring his power. He cackled as he locked eyes with Fiddleford. Bill then stood up from his chair and looked down at Fidd. The demons fell silent as they watched their master. "Like what see you Fidd?" Bill chuckled. "When Gravity falls and earth become sky, fear the beast with just one eye!" He spoke softly, teasing Fidd. Bill had planned this from the start. There was an uproar among the demons. They cheered, cackled and jumped in the air in celebration and excitement. Just then Fidd was pulled back into his own dimension.

Fidd's body was thrown across the room and he rolled on the floor. "What is it? is it working? What did you see?" Ford crawled along the floor to Fiddlefords body. Fidd's eyes were open wide, his pupils were large and his body was shaking. He began to mumble gibberish.
"Fiddleford?" Ford asked in a concerned tone. Fidd sat up "when Gravity falls and earth become sky, fear the beast with just one eye"
"Fiddleford, get a hold of yourself, your not making any sense" Ford  grabbed hold of Fidd's shoulder. Fiddleford flinched and pulled away from Fords grasp. "This machine is dangerous. You'll bring about the end of the world with this. DESTROY IT BEFORE IT DESTROYS US ALL!" Fidd screamed with terror in his eyes.
"I can't destroy this its my life's work" Ford protested.
"I fear we've unleashed a grave danger on the world." Fidd sighed and got up from the floor "one I'd just as soon forget. I QUIT!" Fiddleford stormed out of the room. "FINE! ILL DO IT WITHOUT YOU! I DON'T NEED YOU ! I DON'T NEED ANYONE!" Ford screamed. His head was crowed with voices and thoughts, he didn't realise what he or Fiddleford said. Soon his head caught up with the situation, he ran for the door to find Fiddleford before he did anything irrational.
