Terrance -
It was 7:30 and I was tired, this session was getting no where. I was counseling this married couple, and they both were getting on my nerve. I swear they made me think about me and D.Yelling none stop, neither one trying to listen to each other, they both just want to be heard but nobody wants to listen. That's exactly how shit is with me and Danelle. Whenever she gets mad she yells and throws shit instead of calming down and letting me get a word or two in.
I don't even bother her I just let her yell. I don't be bothered either cause while she yelling, I just ask her if she want some wine and she shut the hell up and say yes. I sighed as I finished up my notes.
"You know you never fucking listen to me Rodger I'm done with your trifling ass! You sit around the fucking house -"
"Man who the fuck is you talking to Renee! I'm sick of-"
"Fuck you, nigga you ain't-"
"WILL YALL SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I yelled as I slammed my hands down on the desk.
They both jerked and looked me dead in my eyes. "Y'all know what the fuck y'all problem is, y'all need to shut up, stopping fucking yelling like y'all kids and listen to each other damn, Rodger you need to get a job man. Get up off ya ass and find a damn job, bring some bacon in the house and then maybe you can get some cheese every know and then, and Renee, you need to let this man breath! Stop fucking nagging twenty four seven, for you not to have shit you sure is requesting to fucking much!" I yelled as I reached inside my desk and pulled out my binder.
"Now the center is holding a marriage boot camp its for two months in Michigan, I advise you too to go and see what there is to offer, y'all need more than my counseling, y'all need medical, physiological counseling, y'all just need help bad, this is a great program that I am requesting that you too be apart of. It helps you build trust in your partner, teaches you how to LISTEN to your partner, it even teaches you how to become partners, now it offers ten classes, y'all need twenty of them, but shit just take this flyer, the applications, pay the fee, and enjoy the trip," I replied while taking a sigh.
They both took the information and looked it over. I was still wondering why the hell they were in my office.
"Y'all dismissed," I replied.
They both got up and walked out. "Damn," I said loosening my tie and laying my head back against my chair. I closed my folder along with the binder and placed them back into my desk. I packed up my bags and looked at the time.
It was now 7:55, after packing up my bag, I clocked out, and made it to the parking lot. I exited the parking garage and headed to the expressway. I picked up my phone and dialed Danelle's number.
"Hello?" She said answering on the first ring.
"You ready?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm ready," she replied.
"Cool I'll be there in ten," I replied.
"Okay," she said as she hung up. I turned up the music, and shortly after I was pulling into her driveway. I honked the horn and got out once she came outside.
I couldn't even lie, Danelle looked good from fucking head to toe. We was only going out for drinks, but she looked like we going to see President Obama. She had everything in tact. That's another thing I loved about her, she never left the house looking trashy.
I loved her short hair cut, and how it brought out her features. "hey," she smiled as she walked up to me.
"Wassup, you looking good," I smirked.
"I know," she replied arrogantly. I rolled my eyes and went in to give her a kiss, but she pushed my head back.
"What?" I asked with my face scrunched up.
"I know you not about to kiss me with that damn ring on your finger," she said pointing to my wedding ring. I looked down at my finger forgetting that I didn't take it off. She shook her head, chuckled, and walked over to her side of the car.
I sighed and got inside whiling taking my ring off. "You don't have to take it off Terrance, I mean you are married, I want you to respect your wife," she said with an attitude.
I just ignored her and backed out the driveway. I pulled off headed to Red Lobster. I know she said she want to go eat but fuck it, I was hungry. I knew Shantey's non cooking ass wasn't going to make any food so I had to eat. D could get her drinks at the restaurant.
Once we pulled up I thought for sure she was gone complain but she didn't. We walked inside hand in hand. There wasn't a wait so we able to get a table quickly.
We ordered our food, and after waiting a few minutes it came and we started eating in silence. I looked over at Danelle as she ate and I couldn't help the dirty thoughts that were running through my mind. I wanted her badly. I needed her.
"what are you looking at Terry?" She asked as she looked up at me smirking.
"You already know what I'm looking at girl," I replied.
She smirked as we both began to laugh. She picked up her drink and took a sip of it while squinting her eyes at me. "What?" I asked.
"Do you really love me Terrance?" She asked.
"Of course," I replied.
"Then what's so hard about filing for a divorce?" She asked.
"D, come on-"
"No Terrance, I don't wanna talk about it later, I don't wanna drop it, tell me the truth, what's so hard about you letting her go, if you honestly want to be with me Terrance. I mean she literally has nothing on me. I cook for you, I clean for you, I do everything that she doesn't, why can't you let her go Terrance?" She asked.
"honestly D, I just don't want to hurt her feelings," I replied.
"Her feelings so what about mines Terrance? I don't wanna share my man, I don't want nobody else but you out of all the niggas I've fucked with, You're the only one who has my heart you're the only one I love but you can't fucking let this bitch go, especially since you always saying that she doesn't make you happy," she replied.
"I know D, I don't know why, I just don't want to hurt her, I don't want to-"
"Three months," she replied.
"Huh?" I asked confused.
"I'm giving you three months, three months to divorce her Terrance, three months to get rid of her, I you don't then I'm done. I'm packing up my shit and going back to LA. I don't have time for these games Terrance. I want you I want to be with you but you keep playing this game with me, so I'm calling the shots, if you don't get rid of her you can watch my ass giggling on the next plane to LA," she scowled.
I took a deep breath and sighed. Three months? How the hell was I supposed to get rid of Shantey in that amount of time? I needed more time but I knew better than to say that shit to Danelle she would tare this restaurant up.
"Alright D, three months," I replied.
"I'm not playing Terrance, Three months or I'm gone," she replied.
"Alright D, three months, I got you I'm done with Shantey, I'm gone get rid of her," I replied.
"I'm not looking for words Terrance, actions," she replied while grabbing her drink not once taking her eyes off me. I said a silent prayer to God asking him to keep me sane these next three months
