Yoichi's POV

I lay on my bed, staring at my poster-covered roof, examining every little detail on the pictures. The darkness of my room didn't bother me, which is unusual. My mind would often play tricks on me, scaring me into turning the lights on. I guess my mind is already too distracted by this restless, irritating feeling in my stomach. I sit up and reach for my phone, flicking through my contacts. Yuu hasn't texted me since I rejected him.

Well, rejected isn't the right word. He didn't exactly ask me to be his boyfriend, so I couldn't have turned him down. No, I just wasn't interested. I don't think I will ever be interested in a relationship until I'm one hundred percent sure he's better. The rain spills from outside through my open window, dampening the windowsill and forming a 'waterfall' down onto my head. My attention goes towards the fresh tub of moisturiser sat on my dresser. I should go see Yuichirou.

"Mom, I'm going to see a friend," I call, pulling on my yellow coat, delicately pulling the hood over my hair. I open the door and enter the darkness of the night, the cold from the rain causing goose bumps to rise on my flesh. I need to check that Yuu-kun is okay, after all he is still vulnerable. He has come so far since that day he returned to school, and I don't want him to fall back on an old habit. I don't think he fully realizes how much I care about him.

I cross the road, still deep in thought. A piercing screech came from my left, bringing me back to reality as I looked for what caused it. Everything seems to slow down as the headlights illuminate my face, stopping me from moving. There is a quick, sharp pain, and then darkness.

Hello!

Sorry this chapter took so long and it's short ass. I was lacking inspiration but now I know what's going to happen up to a point and chapters should come quicker >:D
