"What do you mean you brought her back with you?" Sicily hissed at her brother through the phone as she started running down the hall towards her mother and father's bedroom. This had not been the plan at all when the boys had left nearly twenty four hours ago.

The plan had been to convince her to leave school because she wasn't safe anymore. The plan was to convince her she had won an all inclusive paid trip on some European year long cruise. The plan had never been to bring the poor human girl that had suffered so much back here, just so in the end she could suffer more.

Sicily knew her older brother had no intention of accepting the human as his mate and the longer he stayed near her the harder it was going to break the bond between the two of them. Her older brother knew this and yet he was still risking bringing her back here?

The choice that he was making right now could put their entire pack in danger. Sicily had done her homework on this girl, Katherine Ashby was her name, and she knew that the human's parents would go to extreme lengths to get the girl back. The human's parents had more money than they probably knew what to do with and they had already demonstrated that night the lengths they would go to protect their daughter.

It had taken not only her older brother, but her father and grandfather to clean up the mess that that night had caused. There had been many precautions and measures taken after that night to insure that the girl would be safe and that she would not be in serious harm.

"She's hurt Sicily, we don't have a choice." Those words sent an intimidate flare of panic into Sicily. The human side of Sicily, the rational side, could care less that the girl was hurt. However the wolf side of Sicily immediately became worried for her Luna. She was the future of the pack, well not in this case because her older brother had no intention of accepting her, bust still the wolf side of Sicily realized this girl held a great deal of significance.

"She's a human Zac or did you all forget that fact? What did you do to her?" Sicily had almost reached her parent's house and she pushed herself harder to reach the home before Zac hung up on her. She wanted her father to talk some sense into both of her brothers.

"I didn't do anything to her. She fell out of a tree and broke her ankle. And maybe some ribs and her wrist. She probably has a concussion too from when she hit--" Sicily finally reached the house and began rapidly banging on the door.

It took only moments for her father to reach it and when he opened it his eyes were set into a heavy glare. It was not often that the Elder of the pack was bothered at such a late hour and he was quickly ready to reprimand whoever was causing such a commotion. However his gaze softened when he saw his oldest daughter breathing heavily on the phone. He nodded her in with his head and then furrowed his brows in confusion when she passed.

Without much thought she placed the phone on speaker and began listening to the rest of what Zac had to say.

"--so my point is that you should have a bed ready for her at your house and a doctor there to met us within the next hour because we're almost there." Her father's eyes widened in confusion. Why would they need a doctor? And who was with them?

Sicily raised her eyebrow and her father and prepared for him to go off on Zac. Of course when the boys all left they had neglected to tell anybody but her because it was 'need to know' only. Sicily damn well included herself in need to know because anything that had to do with her mate Bryson had to do with her. She had practically forced the words out of him before he left in such a rush because her dumb ass of an older brother thought something was wrong with his mate.

"What do you need a doctor for Zac?" Hiram's gruff voice bit out quickly. While the old man had been left out of the loop he felt like he had a pretty good idea of what was going on. He had not heard from either of his sons within the last twenty four hours which was unlike either of them.

"Seriously Sicily?" Zac laughed out bitterly. His sister had always been nosy but he didn't think that she would go involve their father. Zac knew how quickly his father would put an end to this little escapade but there was really nothing he could do at this point, they were nearly in pack territory.

"Zachary Mathew Almeida..." Hiram growled out. Though his response we really nothing it said everything.

"We had no choice, they were too close to her again and we couldn't just sit there an let her die--"

"She will die whether you or your brother like it or not. There is nothing that can be done to stop The Others' and you are both fools if you think otherwise." Hiram bellowed out and became tense within a moments notice. Sicily quickly hung up the phone and placed a hand on her father. While she knew there was no other way besides telling her father and getting him involved she did not think about how upset this whole situation really would make the old man.

"Dad..." Sicily trailed off but her father said nothing. He glared at the floor before turning briskly to get his coat. If they were bringing the girl back here he would be there to meet her and see her. And then he would be the first person to get her out of her.

It wasn't safe for the girl to be here and it wasn't safe for the pack. Clearly a fact his Alpha son had forgotten.
