Chapter 11

Surprise

Selena's POV

"Okay I have just about everything finished for tonight. What is she doing right now?" I was currently talking on the phone with Jay, and no it's not Justin, Priscilla's Jay. Tonight he was planning on on proposing to her and I'm in charge of throwing the party for them. You know I use to think we'd have kids around the same time and for sure thought we'd get married around the same time, back when we were little, but me and Justin have a relationship where we're no where near ready to have kids or even get married. Sometimes I wish we were but, who knows, maybe he isn't the one.

"Thanks Sel, you have no idea how much this means, and the fact that you're making it her dream party, makes it that much better" he spoke through the phone.

"Seriously, I love doing it for you guys, anything for you, I love both of you so much and you have no idea how excited I am for this" and I was.

"Really, thank you so much. I'm taking her to get her nails done so I will shoot you a text when we're on our way"

"Okay, see you soon!" I hung up the phone and got back to cooking the rest of the food and did the finishing touches.

I had invited everyone from our family and had our close friends come and everyone was scattered around socializing. I brought out the wine and this beautiful small cake I had ordered for them had just came. Only Jays mom and Priscilla's mom is aware about what was going on tonight, besides me. Everyone else thinks this is just a late baby shower. Which I don't get but whatever.

"Selena?"

"Justin? What are you doing here?" I questioned. I wasn't sure on whether or not if I wanted to invite him because I know Priscilla isn't the biggest fan of him.

"Oh uh, I was invited by Jay" he scratched the back of his neck and looked around at everyone, "so you planned all of this? It's beautiful, she's gonna love it" he walked closer to me and away from the entrance.

"Well I'm glad you could come. And yes, I planned of this, I wanted it to be perfect for them, she deserves the best and it was the least that I could do. You know" it was a little awkward between us and I hated it.

"Look, I get it if you don't want me here so I'll leave if you want me to"

"No, no no no, Justin, stay, please. I'm actually really nervous" I admitted, rubbing my temples trying to calm myself down. I don't know why I'm so nervous I'm not the one getting engaged. Sadly.

Justin's POV

"Sel, you're gonna be fine, calm down" I chuckled. I grabbed her arms and pulled her into my chest.

"I know I know, thank you for coming" she sighed, "ugh I miss you, but you're not getting me back that easily" I pushed him away from me gently. "She should be here any minute now"

"Right" I mumbled. Don't ruin the chance of getting her back. I mean we didn't break up, I guess she just wants me to make it up to her from ignoring her. Which was an asshole move I know I know.

"Okay they're here, help me keep my mouth shut till he does it" I just nodded my head and helped her.

As the night went by, Selena was having fun and enjoying her time with her family and Priscilla and of course she was loving on Aiden. I pretty much just stayed back and watched from one of the tables Selena had set up. I didn't want to get in the way of Selena's night which was Priscilla's night. Does that make sense?

"Baby, come dance with me?" Selena asked. She looked so adorable with her two braids and her long sweater with leggings and her little heeled boots. "Jay, please"

"I would love to dance with you" I replied with a smile. She grabbed my hand and brought me to the dance floor and wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped mine around her waist.

"I'm sorry Justin, I think this whole thing is stupid and I'll just say that I overreacted a bit and you had every right to be mad at me because I didn't tell you that I-" I shut her up by gently placing my lips on hers. I felt her body go from being tense to being relaxed. I pulled away from her and she smiled.

"Baby, it's not your fault I'm the one who overreacted, I should have let you explain" I kissed her again.

"Hello everyone, can I have your attention" Jay spoke through the microphone, "Priscilla baby, can you come up here?" He did the typical and traditional speech of how much he loves her and how he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. Then he got down on his knee and ask her.

"Selena! Oh my gosh!" She was about to run to Selena but she sent her back over to jay. Sel had watery eyes and Priscilla was crying and of course she said yes.

The rest of the night was a huge party with music blasting through the speakers and people dancing and singing as loud as they could. Selena danced her way over to me which made me laugh, she was drunk.

"I'm gonna take you home tonight okay?" I told her. She nodded her head and dragged me out to dance once again.

Sorry if this chapter is a little boring but this was how I was planning on them two making up, well somewhat.

Only about 5-6 weeks left of school left and I can't wait for summer ugh.
