Pitter, patter, pitter, patter. Rain. Rain fell through the night, as the dangerous jungle sent an illusion of sleep and peace. The jungle was humid and foggy from fresh rain and the ground wet and rich with mud. Silence covered the jungle with only a few squeaks of sound to be heard.

To Jihara that was loud enough, she only needed to hear the sound of her claws hitting and tearing at the ground and the soft sounds of prey and insects sleeping and watching from the darkness. Not knowing she was watching and listening back.

Jihara's tail swished through the night, guiding her raptor body through the jungle, as she moved quickly through the night, hunting for prey.

Usually raptors hunted in packs, moving like one body through the jungle, guiding each other with the slightest body movements and the softest sounds. With the alpha female taking the front, ready to take her first, and rightful bite of the kill.

Though Jihara had been outcasted. Once her alpha mother realized Jihara was a threat to her standing in the pack, Jihara's mother wasted no time in chasing Jihara out when she was still a fledgling.

Though Jihara didn't mind, she had survived many harsh ordeals and had grown stronger, thanks to her mother chasing her out of her pack. Besides, though dangerous in this Jurassic world, Jihara enjoyed the quietness and independence that came with being alone. Even if sometimes she wished she wasn't.

Jihara's green reptilian eyes flashed, when the smell of prey came from the west. With her skin flashing a purplish blue and her black claws gleaming, Jihara changed course, following her sharp nose to the smell of delicious prey.

Little did she know that the prey, was more equipped to handle her than she was to handle it.
