Period Stories!

5th Story

I was 15 and I had no boobs. All of my friends had big boobs but I didn't. I knew that any day I could get my period and I felt ready for it. I even kept a little bag with underwear and some pads in it.
I was babysitting for a 9 year old and her baby brother and the 9 year old had bigger boobs than me. We were sitting playing barbies when she said to me, "Guess what, yesterday I got my period! Mommy says I'm a grown woman now and that soon I won't need babysitter anymore."
Then she said
"My mommy tells me that some girls have embarrassing period stories, what is your first period story?"
I then explained to her that some girls get their periods when they are 8 years old but some girls get them when they are 16 and I told her that I am a late bloomer and I don't have mine. She gasped and said
"Yes you do!"
At the time I thought nothing of it and I went home later that day. When I got home I noticed a small red stain on my pants and I thought to myself "Oh my gosh, the girl was right!" It was really weird and I never babysat for them again and I'm not sure if that's just because she was old enough not to need a babysitter anymore or if it was because she told her mom my period story.
