Chapter 3- Parents

Russell P.O.V

We walked into the house to see everybody in the living room. They started to crowd Saza and Rosie-Lou. Saza sat down. "Guys don't crowed her." I said. They then moved away. I sat next to Saza. Rosie-Lou was awake but snuggled in Saza's arms. Kerry came up to us.

"Can I hold her?" She asked.

"Yeah." Said Saza passing Rosie-Lou to Kerry. "I'm just going to go and have a wash." Saza said walking upstairs.

"Aww she's so cute." Said Kerry. She came and sat next to me. "Nice work bro." She said. I had a little chuckle . I saw Jack, Saza's brother, standing behind everyone.

"Jack do you want to come and see your niece?" I asked him. He nodded. He walked towards us. I took Rosie out of Kerry's arms and held her. "Do you want to hold her?" I asked. He shook is head.

"No. I'm fine." He said. "She's got Saza's deep blue eyes."

"Yeah I know. I noticed." I said.

I started to yawn. I was still really tired. All I wanted to do was sleep. My mum must have noticed. "Russell you're tired. We will leave so you can have some sleep." Said my mum.

"You don't have to." I said.

"No prince it's not fair. You all need to sleep." Said my mum. Everyone started to leave. I noticed Jon. I stopped him while everyone walked out.

"Jon can you stay here with me?" I asked.

"Of course Russell." He said.

"Can you hold Rosie while I get her cot?"

"Yeah." I passed her to him.

I got up and walked up the stairs. I went into my room to see Saza fast asleep on her bed. She had put on her pyjamas and her hair was wet. She was obviously still tired. I picked up the little cot that was kept near the window. I carried it downstairs.

I placed the cot in the living room. I picked up Rosie-Lou and placed her in her cot. I went and sat back down next to Jon.

"So how is farther Howard?" Jon asked.

I yawned. "Good. I'm just tired." I said.

"Well Russ I think I will let you sleep." Said Jon getting up.

"Ok." I said. Jon left the house.

I then laid back. I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep.

Two hours later.

Saza P.O.V

I woke up. I got up and brushed through my hair. It was still a bit damp. I walked out of my bedroom and walked downstairs. I walked into the living room to check on Russell and Rosie. They were both fast asleep. I smiled.

I walked back out of the living room and walked into the kitchen. I poured myself a glass of grape juice. I also got out some bourbons.

I walked back into the living room to see Russell just waking up. He saw me and sat up. I went and sat next to him. I put my drink on the coffee table. "Do you want a biscuit?" I asked.

"Yep." He said as he took one. He shoved the biscuit in his mouth as I nibbled on mine. I rested my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer.

"We're parents." I said.

"I know." Said Russell. "It's unbelievable."

I giggled. Rosie started to cry. I got up and picked her up. I gently rocked her. "Maybe she's hungry." Russell said,

"Maybe." I said. I sat back down and started to breast fed her. After she had finished I burped her and placed her back in her cot.

"You are going to be the perfect mother." Said Russell. I kissed him.

"And you're going to be a great farther." I said. Russell and I both smiled.
