Chapter 16 - Wish for

THE NEXT DAY

Russell P.O.V

I was laying on my hospital bed. I was in the room all alone. Saza was getting worried about Rosie-Lou, so I told her and everyone else to go and look for her. Rosie- Lou was a lot more important than me at this moment in time, she needed to be found.

I closed my eyes and tried to sleep, but a face popped. It was Oliver's. Memories started flooding back.

I just put Rosie-Lou in her cot when I heard a knock at the door. I wonder who it is. I walked downstairs and opened the front door. It was Liam. I hadn't seen him since Saza had gone missing. "Hi Liam." I said.

"Hi." He replied hitting my face with his fist. "Pay back time." He said as he carried on hitting me. I started to hit him back.

"For what. What the fuck have I done to you?" I said.

"Not to him." Said a familiar voice. I looked to see Oliver standing at the front door. "To me."

Liam kept throwing punches at my stomach. I mange to hit him but he was clearly stronger as he threw me to the ground. I noticed Oliver go upstairs. Rosie-Lou. I tried to get up but Liam hit me on the head. Causing me to fall against the wall. I felt the back of my head. When I pulled my hand away I saw blood.

Oliver now walked down the stairs holding Rosie-Lou. "No." I said. I felt tears sting my eyes. I tried to get up once again but Liam, once again, hit me causing everything around me to go black. All I could hear was Rosie-Lou crying.

I noticed my phone on the stand next to me. I picked it up and dialled Saza's number. It rung once.

"Russell? What's wrong?" She asked worriedly.

"It's Oliver." I said.

"What?"

"Oliver took Rosie-Lou. I remember."

"Thanks Russell. I will see you soon. Love you."

"Love you more." I said. I then hung up.

Please find her. She is my daughter and I love her to bits.

Saza P.O.V

I told the police that it was Oliver. They knew his mobile number so they were able to track him. Thank God. I need my baby girls back and so does Russell.

We were now outside a massive, wooden shed. Madeline and Kerry were with me. All the others had gone back to the hospital. A police man came up to us. "Please stay here. We don't want you getting hurt." He then turned to just look at me. "We will get you baby out, safe and sound, I promise." I nodded. He walked off. He couldn't promise that, no one can.

Madeline squeezed my hand for comfort. I looked at her. "Saza, she will be find. Especially if she takes after you." She said.

The police stormed in the shed. I didn't look. I berried my head in Madeline's shoulder and Kerry patted me on the back for reassurance. Please let my baby be ok. Please. I then heard a babies cry. I looked to see the police man who talked to us earlier carrying Rosie-Lou towards us. He placed her in my arms. "Thank you." I said not taking my eyes of Rosie-Lou.

Russell P.O.V

Two hours later.

I was started to worry now and I couldn't deny it. Mum kept looking at me. "Russell it's not good for your health to worry." She said.

"I know, but I can't help it." I said. I started twiddling my thumbs.

The door opened revealing Kerry, Madeline and Saza holding Rosie-Lou. Saza walked straight up to me. "Say hello to daddy then." She said to Rosie-Lou handing her over to me. I looked at her and I have never felt so happy to see her. "Sorry we took so long. Rosie-Lou had fovea health check up just to see if she was ok."

"Was she?" I asked.

"Yeah. She is tough." Saza said.

I have my daughter and my wife back and that all I could wish for.
