You left me in the cold
My hands began to freeze as the time ticked by
You give no regard to my safety
Riding in your beat car with strangers
leaving the person you call family in the cold
The minutes bend together as I wait for you to come get me
Your family
I'm still waiting when the sky starts to dim and the drug dealers roam the street
Again I ask my self do you really love me
You say love you when you hang up the phone
But do really love me if you constantly forget I exist
Or leave me in the cold
Twiddling my frozen fingers wishing you wouldn't forget your love for me when it's convenient for you
After two hours of waiting of pining for your mere acknowledge of my existence I call my real family
