The son of the greatest warrior on Earth, Son Gohan stood in the pouring rain beside his father's grave. His eyes were closed tightly either with sadness or anger no one would be able to tell. Water streamed down his cheeks heavily. Was it rain drops? Or tear drops? Both mixed together? That was for the young boy to know and for you to figure out.

A flash lit up the sky

Came the loud horrible sound and a child's whimper before going black again.

His knee's could no longer support his weight and he collapsed. His chest rising and falling quickly and unevenly. A panic attack was surely setting in now and no one was around to help him.

Another flash

Another crack

He let loose a scream of agony that was so loud it could be heard in other world. Soon after it turned into choked wails of sadness.

He was truly alone

The young boy had seen the person he loved the most die.

He had been forced to watch the horrible monster kill in cold blood.

His innocence had been taken from him and there was no way of getting it back.

He was broken

He had no purpose to live

He didn't want to live

He wanted to die

He wanted to be with his father

The only person who ever understood him.

He murmured "I'm sorry" over and over again to the open air.

From him there was only one way out of this situation.

Death.

There was no other way

He sensed others were closing in on him so he had to do the deed and quickly.

Another choked sob left his lips and he place a hand on the grave. Before whispering a simple "I love you" then struggled to his feet.

He stood on the bridge
In silence and fear
For the demons of darkness
Had driven him here

They cut his heart
Right out of his chest
Making him believe
That the demons knew best

They were always there
Sometimes just out of sight
Waiting in the background
Till the time was right

These demons were destructive
Knocking down the life he knew
Hating everything about him
He hated himself too

These demons can't be seen
But they're far from fairy tales
They live inside your mind
Their evilness prevails

So on the bridge he stood
About to end the fight
Then he stopped and thought
I'll fight them one more night

Only he would not be around to fight again.

The saiyan formed a ball of energy in his right hand and for a few seconds he simply stared at it. He stopped looking when he heard his name shouted across the field by his mentor and others.

He locked eyes with each of them not having enough courage to say goodbye with words.

And with one swift motion he pushed the ball of kai right threw his heart.

He only felt the hot sheering pain for mere seconds before his body hit the ground.

The last thing he heard was his mother's scream before everything went white.

The deed was done.
