Panic Attack

Being Human

It was something new for him

To experience things

He's never had to before

He has 100% human blood

No Saiyan blood left

Like now he's battling a cold

And going to school

He feels drained

But he must go on

In gym class he is

Must make his mother proud

Running laps

His heart going

Thump thump thump

Lungs burning

Head bounding

Legs aching

Throat dry and tight

Yet he pushes harder

His vision blurs

Causing him to stop

His legs give out

He collapses

His breathing is off

His lungs are screaming at him

"Can't get enough air! You aren't getting enough air!!"

His brain screams

"You are going to die!!"

Body says

"You must be suffocating"

Panic floods though you

You have never experienced this

And that scares you

You hear people yelling

But you can't make out

what is being said

You can hear yourself gasping for air

You briefly want to yell for help

But know you can't

Someone touches you

And is yelling your name

You tense up

Suddenly your placed on your feet

Everything is spinning

Everything but you

The need to breath

Is greater now

Lungs burning with need

Spots cloud your vision

Your breathing his shallow

And you feel as though

Your lungs are getting smaller

Your eyes widen with fear

You're scared

Hands keep touching you

You jerk away

You tense up more

Take in air quicker

Panic more

You don't know them

Their strangers

Your legs shake

They can't support your weight

You go down

Once again

Your body starts shaking violently

Gasping again......and again

Coughing now

Vision blurred even more

Can't make out shapes or people

Or anything

Black creeps into the corner of your vision

It quickly takes over

And that terrifies you

Everything loses it color

Everything is replaced with a sea of black.

And you finally let go

And drift in the sea

After all you always loved the ocean.
