We sat in silence just looking around. I was listening music on my phone while looking outside letting my imagination flow through my head. I always daydreamed of a great place, somewhere where anything was possible, where life had true meaning. I smiled to myself as I kept looking out of the window. For the first time I think I made friends, Rogue was nice, Logan was... bearable I guess, he was a bit odd. But then again who isn't? My thoughts where rudely interrupted when the train hit the breaks and I bumped my head hard against the seat. I held my hand against my head. "Ouch." I mumbled suffering from a headache. People began screaming and gasping. As the lights flickered on and off. Logan stood slowly up looking around him. "What the hell is going on?" I said looking at Rogue. She shrugged. "I dunno.." She mumbled.
Rogue stood up to also looking around as did I. Metal suitcases began turning upwards and the back off the whole train began to move. I walked a little closer to Rogue and Logan. I gasped when the whole back of the train began to break apart. People where screaming and running towards the other side of the train. Rogue looked shocked towards the end off the train as did I, she held the back of her seat as for dear life. My eyes widened as I saw a man slowly floated towards the train and landed down perfectly on his feet. He was an elder looking man, he wore a black sort of suit with a cape, which hung over his arm, and he had a weird looking helmet on his head. Logan held out his fist and on each side came three metal claws.
The man slowly walked towards Logan. "You must be Wolverine." He said. As he still walked closer, as Logan was ready to attack the man held out his hand and Logan couldn't move anymore. "That remarkable metal doesn't run trough your entire body, does it?" He questioned him. The man opened his fist wide and Logan's arms moved upwards as did his head. Rogue had in the mean time sat back down next to my seat, but I still stood watching fascinated. Rogue had a look of fear and worry on her face. The man opened his hand wider as Logan's claws spread further. Logan groaned in pain. His whole body was lifted in the air. "STOP!" Rogue screamed. "Stop it!" She yelled again.
"What... the hell do you want... with me?" Logan managed to mutter out. "You?" The man chuckled. "My dear boy. Who ever said I wanted you?" He said. Logan's head slowly turned towards Rogue as did mine. Rogue's eyes widened as she shrunk down in her seat looking at the man. Then Logan and my head turned towards the man again. The man now only pointed with his finger towards the front of the train, and Logan flew back only to crash right into the front door. His body fell down with a crash. Rogue quickly stood up and turned to run towards Logan. "Rogue!" I yelled at her. But she didn't listen. She ran towards Logan, that's when the man shot some sort of shot at her in hit her in her neck as she crashed onto the ground. All the people gasped. The man shook his head. "Young people." He murmured to himself. I saw him move towards Rogue, but before he could reach her I blocked his way standing before Rogue and Logan.
"Stand back!" I yelled at him. Not out of fear, I wasn't scared in fact I was interested in his powers. But I was protecting my friends. He just ignored me and kept slowly walking to me. I spread my arms. "I mean it." I said. He just shook his head mockingly. Ah I got it he thought I was no treat for him that I was just a mere human. I mentally chuckled to myself. I let my hand light up with my blue flames. I knew my eyes were now a neon blue color. I looked up to see a smirk playing on the man's face. "Astonishing." He murmured. My face now showed confusion, wasn't this guy supposed to be the bad guy? The guy who hurts other mutants from what I've seen here. "Do not come any closer. I will not let you hurt my friends." I hissed at him. He chuckled. "Friends? My dear, you barely even know them. You're only protecting them, because you are afraid of being alone again." He told me. I shook my head. "No. You don't know me, you don't know anything about me!" I said to him. I mentally cursed to myself for showing my emotional pain on my face. "I know you are one of us. And you have an incredible gift, if only you could use it for the right things..." He said as his eyes softened.
"What do you mean? The right things?.." I asked confused. "I know the pain, that the humans brought you.. How much you hate every one of them, if you really care about the sake of our kind you would come with me. And join my Brotherhood. No homo sapiens will hurt you ever again." He said kindly to me as he held out his hand to me. I was torn right now, I could do something good for all the other mutants. He was right I was pained by the humans, I did hate them with every bone in my body, even if there where good people, it didn't mean they where innocent. Maybe this was what fate had finally planned for me? I really did want to join him. But what about Rogue and Logan? I knew I would betray them, but this is what I wanted, I couldn't turn down his offer. Not now.
I slowly let my hands cool down and form to their normal being again, just as my eyes did. I took a deep breath and took a step forward. Accepting his hand, he smiled as I did so. We walked out of the train again as two what I assumed where mutants came at us, one walked with us and the other walked back in grabbing Rogue and throwing her over his shoulder. One had long blond hair, big brows, slight red skin and black eyes. The other who carried Rogue had green hair and not the best type of skin, it had a slight green tint and wasn't flawless. The man let go of my hand and we walked back into the train station.
