We made our way out of the train station following, which I learnt to know now, Magneto. I walked between Sabertooth and Toad. As I looked at took for a second I felt kind of guilty for betraying Rogue. I shook the thought out of my head. No I knew that what had decided, what I was doing was for the sake of the mutants, and every war has it's sacrifices. And I'm willing to pay the consequences of that

The main doors opened and we stepped outside, only to be surrounded by I don't even know how many policemen. Magneto stopped and I walked up standing next to him, curious how this was going to end. Because I didn't had a great feeling about this.

"Alright hold it. Hold it right there, stay where you are and put your hands over your heads now." A policeman who was leaning over his car said trough out his speaker. I saw Magneto giving the man a look that was like, really. Then he raised his hands up in the air, which caused two police cars to be lifted up in the air too. All the policemen looked up at the cars in fear and quickly tried to go out of the way. Magneto slowly turned his hands and brought them back down. The two cars came crashing down to the ground and panicking policemen where yelling at each other and ducking out of the way.

They quickly ran back into positions ready to shoot, but their guns merely floated from their grip and where turned pointing towards the policemen themselves. I looked in amazement Magneto really was powerful. "You homo-sapiens and your guns." Magneto spat out. Well it was clear that he truly despised humans. And he had a right to do so, it was unfair how they treated mutants. I had no doubt that if they felt threatened by a mutant, they would instantly put an end to them.

Suddenly Sabertooth wrapped his hand around Magneto's neck, I instantly felt my hand glow up and turned towards them. But Magneto shook his head telling me to wait. My hands slowly turned to their normal state. I didn't really get it but chose not to make a big deal about it. "That's enough Erik." Sabertooth said. Erik? So that was his real name? "Let them go." Toad said as he turned to Magneto. Magneto's eyes searched through the crowd. "Why not come out where I can see you Charles?" Magneto said loudly, clearly wanting this Charles person to hear. "What do you want her for?" Sabertooth asked. "Can't you read my mind?" Magneto asked with a smirk on his face. Then he ticked on his helmet. "What now? Save the girl? You'll have to kill me Charles. And what will that accomplish? Let them pass that law and they'll have you in chains with a number burned to your forehead." Magneto told him.

"It won't be that way." Sabertooth said. "Then kill me and find out." Magneto dared him. I silently gasped. Kill him? Was he serious? But nothing happened. "No? Then release me." He demanded sternly. Turning his head to Sabertooth. I watched them closely. I heard footsteps next to me. I turned to see Toad slowly walking away with Rogue. "Hey!" I called at him but that didn't make him stop. I walked towards toad and grabbed his arm, but he roughly broke free from my grip. I let my hands glow up. Magneto was looking angry. "Fine." He spat. He loaded a gun and made one little movement with his eyes. I heard the gunshot and turned my head to see. Everybody began yelling and backing away. The bullet was touching the policeman's forehead but didn't break the skin.

"Better press your luck Charles." Magneto said, loading all the guns. "I don't think I can stop them all." The policeman groaned in pain and fear. Sabertooth seemed to be back to his conscious and released his grip on Magneto. Toad also came back to his conscious and shook his head, he turned and walked back to us. "Still not willing to make sacrifices. That's what makes you so weak." Magneto said. I heard a helicopter and looked up to see one coming towards us. There was a woman controlling the helicopter, but she wasn't a normal human or so. She was most definitely a mutant. Her skin was blue and had scales, she had short literally orange slit back hair and bright yellow eyes. That's amazing. I thought as I looked in awe.

Just to think that this morning I thought that today would be the same again as normal, Wake up, eat something somewhere, travel to another city in the hope of finding someone like me, which I never found. And then look back at what I've been through today. How many mutants I met in one day, more then I met in all my life. Never thought my day could turn out into this. But I'm glad it did. I finally feel like I belong somewhere. Like I have a purpose again. I smiled to myself. "Goodbye, Charles." Magneto said. He turned his head to me. "Come along dear." He told me. I nodded and followed him. Into the helicopter that just landed.

I sat down and buckled myself up. Just as the others did. Toad laid Rogue who was still unconscious on a seat and went to sit with the blue woman in the front. Magneto sat in front of me. I just turned my head to the window looking outside. But my head turned back as I heard Magneto's voice. "I didn't catch your name I think. What was it again dear?" He asked me. I looked up at him. "It's Alexia.. Palmer." I told him. "I meant your real name." He said. Real name? But I just told him? I began to puzzle it out in my mind and then it rang. "Blaze." I said quietly. Magneto smiled at me. "Well it is good to have you on our side Blaze. I assure you for the sake of mutants, you made the right decision." He told me. I smiled back at him. Knowing that he was right.
