His screams fill the air.
The loudest I've ever heard him.
I hear Judy asking dad what happened.
But he couldn't answer.
I heard her thundering up the stairs.
She asks again before seeing my lifeless body.
Dad is in shock.
His mouth gaped open no words coming out.
Within seconds Judy's on the ground.
She collapsed.
Ronnie hears Dad's screams and comes running up the stairs.
She screams,
Daddy help her!
She runs over to your dangling body.
Pleading for you to wake up.
She repeats wake up several times.
But I don't answer.
I'm not waking up.
I'm gone.
I'm dead, there's no going back.
Or waking up.
Spencer comes up the stairs after hearing all the commotion.
And he halted to a stop.
His bright blue eyes widen.
He watches his oldest sister swing back and forth.
Dangling from a rope.
He sees the camera and the chair.
But he doesn't move.
He is as stiff as a board.
Dad is speechless but tear flow out of his eyes.
Watching his princess, lifeless.
Dad never cries.
Not even when mom left him.
He picks up the phone hanging on the wall in your room.
He dials,
9...1...1
When the dispatcher picked up he could barely say what's happening.
The words you never want to say as a parent.
My daughter committed suicide.
His voice cracked at suicide.
Tears kept flowing.
Ronnie stares at your dad.
He replaces the phone back on the receiver.
She practically jumps into Dad's arms.
Crying almost as hard as dad.
Ronnie's only 13.
Too young to totally understand.
But she knows.
She knows your gone.
She know you dead.
She knows your never coming back.
Everything is over.
