"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN LOVE? WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT  MEAN?"

I ran after Nutcracker, my heart pounding and my breath comming in short spurts.

"Nutcracker!" I exclaimed "Talk to me!"

"What is there to talk about?" Nutcracker said "You asked how to break the curse and i told you"

"But i dont understand" I said "Who do you expect me to love..."

I trailed off, Nutcracker was looking at me with a blank expression

"You want me to love Kris, dont you?" I whispered

Nutcracker faultered, he looked down at the ground, unable to meet my gaze.

"I..." Nutcracker said "I just want to not be a Nutcracker anymore"

Feeling instantly drained i didnt know what to say. I reached out and held his face in my hands, forcing him to look at me. His eyes were so sad it hurt.

"What if i cant love him though?" I whispered, tears welling up in my eyes "He's been so horrible to me"

Nutcracker grabbed my hands and held them gently

"I can tell you right now, that he is regretting every single horrible thing he ever did to you" He said softly

"how do you know?" I asked

Nutcracker squeezed my hands

"I just do" He said, before releasing them and walking away again

I woke up the next morning to crystal clear sunlight shinning down on me. I was lying underneath a big willow tree, its vine like branches drifting lazily above me. We hadnt bothered starting a fire the night before because it was so warm. We were almost to the ocean but still had a days walk before we reached the sandy beaches that awaited us. Rubbing my eyes i looked around me, Nutcracker was no where in sight. I closed my eyes and listened intently but all i could hear was the swaying of branches in the soft wind and birds chirping, i could also hear a waterfall that was just through the tree's. I remembered thinking about how a shower would be nice and how that waterfall had seemed like the prefect place for it.

I figured wherever he was he would be back soon and i would probebly be back by then.

Off to the waterfall i went.

It wasnt really just one waterfall. More like a big pool that turned into a bunch of little waterfalls sorounded by large green plants and blooming flowers. The rocks under the crystal clear water sparkled silver and tiny little fish sparkled different rainbow colors in the tiny pools all around.

It was magical.

I stripped off my jeans, tank top and undergaments. Eager to feel the water on my skin i jumped right into the big pool that was deep enough to cover up to my shoulders. When my head broke the surface i sighed. I instantly felt cleaner then i had in days. I backstroked across the pool, taking pleasure in the feel of the warm water on my skin. The little sparkling fish swam around me, nibbling on my toes, causing me to giggle. I skimmed my fingers along the silver rocks, they were as smooth as glass but not slimy. This was the most perfect place ever.

I felt like i really was in a fiary tail.

There was a splash near the enge of the pool, like a pebble being dropped into the crystal clear depths. Startled, i floundered around, accidentally taking in big gulps of water and kicking and splashing wildly as i tried to get my bearings.

When i finally got my feet down on the silvery rocks i looked all around me for the intruder who was probebly peeving on me hard core. But i couldnt see anyone, looking around suspicously i only saw something fabric like lying next to my pile of dirty clothes.
