Blaise "The Bad Boy"
How you meet:
The sun beat down the back of my neck, and birds chirped in the morning air. I couldn't really enjoy the scenery around me, due to the fact that I was running incredibly late for school. Normally I wouldn't care, but Mr. Linz (my math teacher) said if I was late to his class one more time... I would be suspended. Practically pulling on my shoe as I ran down the side walk, I pushed myself closer and closer to the brick building. I never used to be this person... the person who didn't care if she was late or not, or if her grades were bad. But lately, I've gotten the feeling that maybe... this isn't the way I was supposed to go. I used to be the good girl, the one with straight A's and the perfect attitude... I just changed.
Brushing the thoughts aside, I hauled the glass doors open and ran through the near empty hallways towards my locker. Screeching to a halt, I quickly spun the lock. My fingers were moving faster than my mind and I kept dialing it wrong. I let our a frustrated sigh before finally getting it open. I shoved some books in, and quickly grabbed my math textbook and slammed my locker shut. Glancing at the clock I saw that I had two minutes to get from my locker, all the to the other side of the building and down to the second floor.
Stomping my foot, I turned on my heel and raced towards the staircase. But me being me, I wasn't paying attention, and slammed right into someone. Causing my textbook and I to go flying, and knocking the other person to the floor as well. Scrambling to my feet, I grabbed my book and turned back to see the person who I had knocked down, only to see that it was... Blaise Zakari, "The Bad Boy" of our school.
Trying to find my voice to apologize was more than difficult. My mouth hung agape as I looked at the gorgeous boy laying on the floor, rubbing the back of his head. You see... no in school really messed with Blaise. It's not like he was really mean or anything, you just never want to be on his or his friends bad sides. And I'm only guessing at this point.., I was definitely on his bad side.
"Oh my gosh, Blaise!" I squealed, finally finding my voice. I had completely forgotten about getting to class on time. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you and I was just trying to get to class! I'm so sorry! Do you need to go to the nurse? Do you want me to get a teacher to help you? Are you hurt? How hard did I hit you? Am I-"
But my rant was cut short by a deep, sexy voice. "(Y/N), chill out. I'm fine." He looked up at me with his mesmerizing, dark brown eyes. Blaise Zakari knows my name!
"Are you sure? Because you know I could-"
"I'm sure, (Y/N)."
"At least let me help you up." I said, reaching my hand out to him.
Chuckling, he grabbed my hand and I hauled him up. "You know," his face was only inches away from mine, "you're pretty cute when you're flustered." With that said, he sauntered off down the hall. Biting back a smile, I turned away and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear, not worried at all about Mr. Linz.
How you become a couple:
That day changed a lot. I did get in trouble with Mr. Linz, but I wasn't suspended. Blaise and I became really close. Our group of friends kind of intermingled. That was a year ago. Today, I have a much better attitude and I'm finally a senior!
"Hey cutie!" A deep voice brought me out of my thoughts. Currently, I was sat on my couch watching a T.V. program that wasn't all that interesting.
"Hey!" I cheered turning slightly to see him standing in the archway to my lounge, "Who let you in?"
"Your mom because someone else wouldn't answer their phone." He accused, while pointing a finger at me. Blaise jumped over the back to the couch and plopped his body right next to mine.
"Are you accusing me of being a bad friend?" I said jokingly offended.
"Never!" Sarcasm was saturated in his voice.
"Whatever, at least I'm not the friend who ditches the other one for a stupid fight at a fight club." I knew that was a sour spot to hit... even if we were joking. It happed a few months back where Blaise and I made plans to go to the movies because I was sick all week, and I wanted out of the house. I waited for three hours before getting a call from one of his friends saying he was badly hurt at a fight and needed me to come down. I was so angry that he blew me off, but I still went to make sure he was okay. When I did see he was, I slapped him and walked away.
"Come on, that's not fair. I said I was sorry." Blaise retorted defending himself.
"I know... I know. Sorry," sighing I rested my head against his shoulder and relaxed into him. We sat in a comfortable silence, just staring at the pictures on the screen.
Blaise spoke up after a few hours of watching different programs. "Hey (Y/N), do you want to watch a movie?"
"Yeah, sure!" He stood up and walked over to the entertainment center and pulled out a movie. Without letting me see what it was, he slipped it into the DVD player and took his place back on the couch. "What are we watching?"
"You'll see." He replied with a devious smirk playing on his lips. Pushing my suspicion aside, I cuddled back into Blaise's side and waited for the movie to start. A few minutes later the title screen popped up displaying "Paranormal Activity."
"No!" I screeched, trying to get away. It was no use, Blaise had a muscular arm wrapped around my waist, holding me against his side. "I hate you." I pouted as I stopped struggling against his grip.
"Love you, too, cutie." He hit play and the movie began. I coward into his side halfway through the movie, mumbling profanities under my breath. It was the part in the movie where the girl was being dragged down the hallway. I couldn't take it, I hated this movie. "(Y/N), it's okay," Blaise whispered, his warm breath passing by my ear. He gently kissed the top of my head, "I got you. You know," he lifted my chin so I was looking dead into his gorgeous eyes. "You're really cute when you're scared."
"Then I must be freaking gorgeous." I gritted through my teeth.
He just chuckled and turned back to the movie. By the time it was over, I had practically pushed Blaise in front of me and hid behind him. "(Y/N), it's over." I crawled out from behind him and curled up into a bawl next to him. "Hey, don't tell me the big bad (Y/N), is scared of a little movie," he teased. I just glared at him. "What if I told you I made you watch this movie because I was just too scared to ask you something?"
"Gasp! The big bad Blaise afraid to ask little ole me a question?" I teased back.
"Shut up!" He laughed, "I'm trying to be serious."
Laughing along with him, I faced him and rested one leg on the couch. "What's up?"
"Well there's this girl," my heart dropped to my stomach, he doesn't like me. "She's totally cool and fun to be around. She used to be a total bad ass... but something changed, and I still can't get her out of my mind."
"You should tell her how you feel." I said trying to mask my disappointment. Glancing at the clock, I saw it was past midnight. "It's getting late, you can crash here if you want." Standing up I brushed my hands on my yoga pants and walked towards the stairs. Before I could even leave the room, my back was pressed up against the wall and warm lips covered mine. Tender fingers held the back of my neck holding me in place, while a nervous hand rested on my waist. His lips begged for me to respond, which I gladly did. Our lips danced in a perfect rhythm, as smiles crossed our lips. Unfortunately, the kiss had to come to an end because we're human and we need air. "What was that for?" I heaved, trying to catch my breath.
"I couldn't control myself any longer. Will you be my girl?"
"Yes."
Break-up:
Blaise and I have been going strong for eight months now. Graduation and prom are creeping up on us and I can't wait! The only problem is, is Blaise has been acting really strange lately. When we make a date he always has to leave early, and when we pass each other in the hall he barely even smiles at me.
Sighing, I shut my locker and began my way towards the lunch room.
"Hey chica!" Molly squealed from beside me.
"Hey," my voice was dull and lifeless.
"Still trouble in paradise?" She asked sympathetically. I just nodded my head at her, "Things will get better. Promise."
"I hope so."
We entered the cafeteria and I began searching for Blaise, but I didn't see him anywhere. Before I could even think, I was immediately attacked with a hug and the scent of cologne. "I'm so sorry." A soft voice spoke in my ear causing a shiver to run down my spine. Turning around I saw Blaise with tears threatening to fall from his eyes, and his normal tough physique he held up at school deteriorating.
"What are you talking about?"
A look of confusion covered both of our faces. "You mean... you haven't seen the-" But he was cut off by a huge slap a cross the face.
"How dare you cheat on my best friend!" Lily (my best friend since pre K) shrieked in my ear.
"You what?" I was bewildered by her accusation. Blaise wouldn't cheat... would he?
"(Y/N), I didn't, I didn't. I swear!"
But it was too late... I had already seen the evidence marking his guilty face. Well, that and the picture Lily had shoved in my face. He was kissing Nikki... the girl he dated before me. "I hope you have fun with her." Was all I said before I walked away, not daring to look back at the boy who was desperately calling my name.
Make up:
The next few weeks past by painfully slow. Nothing seemed important right now... not even prom. I didn't want to go, I didn't want to face Blaise with Nikki... it would be to hard. Sighing, I flipped over onto my stomach trying to clear my thoughts. It was just no use.
"Okay! That's it! You're getting out of bed, whether you want to or not!" Lily hollered as she barged into my room with two bags in her hands.
"What are you doing here?" I groaned, sitting up.
"Getting you out of the house." She stated simply.
"Where would we be going exactly?"
"The club!" And with that said, we got to work.
*At the club*
The music was pumping and shaking the ground, people were grinding on each other, the smell of booze coated the air in the room. It was your typical bar scene. Girls in slutty clothes with way too much makeup, and guys just begging for them to let them through their "gates"... if you catch my drift. Lily and I strutted over to the bar in our stiletto heels to get some drinks. Sitting down at the bar we watched people dance, stumble and some of them fall. My mind wandered away from my previous problems as I downed a shot Lily had ordered. The warm liquid burned my throat a little, but I ignored it. A few shots later, I was ready to get out on the dance floor.
My body moved swiftly with the music as my hips swayed side to side. I danced with everyone and anyone really. I was out to have a good time and I wasn't going to hold back. The beat pumped through my veins and my feet bounced to the rhythm. I was brought out of my trance when a pair of hands wrapped themselves around my waist. Turning around to meet this stranger, my eyes connected to the all to familiar pair of deep brown eyes. Blaise.
Instantly, I distanced myself from him. "What are you doing here?" I yelled over the music.
"I came to find you! I miss you!" He hollered back.
I scoffed, "Well I don't miss you!" I turned around swiftly and made my way through the crowd, towards the front door. Before I could make it outside, a hand grabbed my arm. "What?" I screeched as I faced Blaise.
"You don't mean that! I know you miss me!" He searched my face for any sign that he was right, and I knew he had found it when he stepped closer to me. "I miss you, I miss you so much it hurts. I haven't slept well in weeks! You were so good to me and I did something so terrible." Even though he was speaking in his regular voice I could still hear him. "I was drunk and stupid... and to be completely honest, all I thought about was you. Please... please give me another chance."
I didn't answer him with words... I couldn't. I was crying to hard. So I did the one thing I could do... I kissed him with everything I had. Pulling away slightly, I mumbled, "Does that answer your question?" against his lips.
He only smiled and kissed me again.
