Walking into my house, I quickly noticed the note on the counter.

Yoru,
I will be going on a trip for work, I bought dinner for the ext few days for you.
I love you,
Mom

Great, home alone... what to do now? Before I can decide anything, my phone buzzes. "Hey Yoru! Its Lucy. Wanna hang out? u can come ovr." I smile, before agreeing to come over. "Great! Meet @ my house n 5"

I got ready and grabbed a few things before heading over. As I walked to her house, I noticed a car drive off... one of the girls from school was just here? Lucy opened the door for me casually letting me into her house.

"Sorry for the boxes here and there, we haven't finished unpacking." She said, giving a small tour of her house. The layout was similar to mine, but the decor was beautiful. Her family was obviously better off than mine in that way.

"Lulu!" A high pitched voice whined out from down the hall, and soon a small boy appeared, being the owner of the high pitched voice. "Oh, who's this?" The young child clings to my sleeve out of curiosity.

"Alex, this is Yoru..." her voice is harsh as she shoos him away.

"The one you called b-" Alex's mouth is clamped shut quickly, Lucy proceeds to push him out of the room.

"Don't mind him." she calls out from the hall. Her phone starts vibrating in a phone call. "Go ahead, answer it. Let me finish dealing with my brother!" Her voice was farther away than before. I picked up her phone, answering the call.

"Hey Lucy, how's everything going? You still planning on tricking her?" The girls voice on the phone asks. I hang up before I can hear anything else. I delete the history of the call, before putting it down.

"Who was that?" Lucy walks back into the room carefully. I shrug nonchalantly, dismissing that it happened. My heart races as I thought of what the girl meant.

I couldn't think about it right now, I'm not letting some weird phone call ruin our fun time. Even putting it to the back of my mind, anytime I looked over to her, it nagged at me. Would she really be that kind of person...?

(A/n) gonna leave you there on sort of not really a cliff hanger. Thanks to Duglesi for encouraging me to update, although it like really late as I wrote this, thanks. (End of a/n)
