"And the first act through to the live shows next Saturday is..."
Dermot spoke very slowly and clearly. Me and the girls were all stood together with our fingers crossed hoping and praying the public had liked us and voted for us. I was so nervous, I wanted to get through more than anything, this was my dream. The silence seemed to go on forever, I looked to my right and at the side of the stage was Oritse, he was stood with a reassuring smile on his face looking at me. He crossed his fingers and held them up so I could see. I smiled back at him, then returned my focus to the audience sat in suspense. Hurry up and tell us!
"Chloe! Talia! Elle and Sonia! You are through to next weeks live shows! Congratulations girls!" Dermot eventually called out in a loud voice.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" We all screamed at the same time, jumping up and down. Yes! I can't believe we did it! The public liked us! We are still in the competition! We were signalled to leave the stage as the audience cheered for our success. I ran over to the side of the stage where I was greeted by Oritse. I ran into his arms and he picked me up twirling me around in a circle. He put me down and gave me a huge hug.
"I knew you could do it babe". He whispered in my ear. "I'm so proud of you".
I was about to reply when Sonia grabbed my arm pulling me towards her and the girls!
"Can you believe this?!" Sonia shrieked. I turned around to see Oritse but he had gone. The girls and I happy danced back to the apartment and we all called our mums to celebrate with them.
"Pizza is needed!" Talia shouted once she was off the phone. We all shouted to her what we wanted and she phoned up dominos and ordered.
I sat down on the sofa waiting for the pizza and pulled out my phone. It kept buzzing! Loads of twitter interactions, facebook notifications and messages, missed calls, texts... ugh. I scrolled through my texts and found one from Oritse. It read, "let me pick you up at 7 tomorrow night. I have a surprise for you xxx". I smiled, not bothering to check anything else on my phone, it can wait.
"Pizzas here ladies! Chloe put a DVD on ready!" Elle shouted. I'm in the best mood ever, I feel on top of the world.
