With Captin by my side I know I have a true friend. I know Captin is a mythical creature with probably a 2% chance of being acually real, but I try to saver every moment I can with her. In fact, all I see in her is my brother. My brother, who dreamed up this creature who is now dead from an attack on his base that gave me a card that captured a perfect portrait of the beautiful monster beside me. So with scratches and bruises and a shirt gone, Captin and I begin our journy to nowhere.
Captin stops. Her red and green wings started to beat, and that's when I started to get nervous. Was it the Flygons? Have they come for revenge? Whatever it was, Captin grabs me with her talons and thrusts me into a near by blueberry bush. She quickly follows, making sure I'm alright. I nod and stay in contact with her. I hear footsteps aproaching as we sink lower in the bush. It was not a Flygon. Not a Pokémon. A person. An acual human being. It was a male, and he had light red hair with blue eyes. His red hair was about the same color as mine, but I was jealous of his eyes. Mine were dark brown, while his was a perfect ocean blue. He was my age, but I was a few inches taller than him. The boy wore a red t-shirt and jeans. Nice ones. All I got was a dirty undershirt and sports shorts. I scolded myself for being so envious.
No Megan. Stop that, I thought.
The boy stopped infront of us, but he did not look in our direction. He paused, then took out a pokéball. It was opended, and a Lucario emerged.
"Read the Aura," the boy commanded. The Lucario nodded, and closed it's eyes. A blue light emitted from it's body. My eyes widened. It was amazing, I mean, it was probably nothing for a native person, but for me it was insane. The Lucario pointed to the bush we were at. Before we had a chance to flee, I found myself locking eyes with the boys perfect blue ones. Without a word, the Lucario pried us apart, obviously annoinded by me. Captin rose up to block me. I climbed on her back in front of me, just incase in need of a quick escape. I manange to catch another glimps of the boy's stunning eyes.
"Use Aurasphere," the boy gave another command to the Lucario, and it gladly obayed. I clutched onto Captin as she sprang up at the last second. The Lucario jumped from tree to tree and finally reached us at the tree tops.
"Higher!" I shouted. Captin ascended quick about twenty feet above the Lucario, but that didn't stop it. I sprung up and grabbed Captin's leg, forcing it to the ground. Before we knew it, Captin was unconcios and I was laying defencless on her back.
The boy threw a pokéball at Captin and she was coated in red light and got smaller and smaller. I gasped as my grip from her was slowly decreasing, and she was locked up in the pokéball. I knew she would have no change for escape so I quickly reacted and smashed the ball before it could fully complete the capture. Captin sprung out, still lying out but asleep.
"What nerve do you have?" I shouted at the boy. I ignored how dazzled I was from his eyes.
"I should be asking that to you! You raided my capture!" he argued. I got a slight pick-up of a country accent.
"Capture?! This is MY Flygon!" I shouted at him, furious. I felt a little wierd claiming a living this as my own, but in Pokémon this was true.
"No it is not. IF it was really yours, THEN the pokéball would have bounced off of it because YOU had it's true pokéball!" At this rate Captin started to wake, and the boys Lucario was starting to brace itself. I batted my eyelashes rapidly.
"Well she is mine in spirit," I say mocking his southern accent. His face turned as red as his hair. He did not say a word, he just retured Lucario to his pokéball and walked away. As I tended to Captin I heard him mutter something under his breath.
After that I felt a wet push on my right cheek.
