Chapter 16

Lucy's POV:

"How did you go today dear?......Lucy?....Earth to Lucy?!?"

"Hey Layla? Do you want me to get a bucket of water?"

"Whhaa...aaattt?" I yawn as someone gently shakes me awake "I can still get that bucket of water!" a hopeful voice says "Okay I'm awake I'm awake!!" I exclaim sleepily, "Are you okay Lucy? Lately you have been really tired!" asks Mum worriedly "no I'm fine I have just been really busy trying to get the hang of Telepathy and Telekinesis" I sigh. We are all at dinner, Mum came back three days ago but decided not to continue our lessons on Celestial Spirit magic since I knew as much as her on the subject. Two and a bit weeks ago I started learning Telekinesis with Henry and Spider, who has now calmed down quite a bit, and started doing Telepathy in the afternoons with Aria and Charles the twins as my teachers because Mum went away for two weeks. To be honest I hadn't really met the twins before Mum assigned them to teach me Telepathy. Apparently they live deep in the forest in a small hut and they rarely come out, I have to walk out halfway to their hut to meet them for my lessons. We meet in a small glade and exercise for an hour or two by doing Yoga to relax, they don't talk out loud and they have forbidden me from talking out loud when we are in the glade, this is supposed to help me to become telepathic but so far the lessons have been one sided conversations, I still haven't been able to communicate with them. "-What do you think Lucy?" Mum asks and I shake my head in confusion "Sorry I think I might have drifted off again can you please repeat the question?" I ask sheepishly, Mum sighs and smiles "I think you should head to bed and we can talk tomorrow" I mumble my thanks and slope to bed. I open my door and walk into my messy bedroom, I am  just about to flop onto my bed when I accidentally trip on a...well...something, and fall down, as I fall I grab at my bedside table but my hand catches on my clock and the clock starts to fall with me. Without thinking I reach my mind out and push it back onto my bedside table. *Thump* "oww" I groan, slowly getting up. My mind doesn't react when I see the clock sitting on the table like it had never fallen "Huh?......" because of my tiredness I am slow to realise what happened, "whaaaaaaaatttttttttt? DIDISERIOUSLYJUSTDOTHAT?!?! OHMYCELESTIALKINGABOVEICAN'TBELIEVEIT......I CAN  DO TELEKINESIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh yeah, boomyah!!!" I shout and start doing a dance around my room. Suddenly I pause "hang on! What if that was a fluke?" I mutter to myself and then turning to my clock I reach out my mind and imagine the clock moving. After a few seconds IT DOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Woooohoooo" I yell in excitement and run down the corridor, turn left then right before rushing in to my Mums study "Hey Mum, Mum guess what? I can move objects with my mind! I CAN USE TELEKINESIS!!!!!!!!!!!"

"That's great dear!" Mum says, keeping on looking down at her work and writing. I deflate "oh, I see that you are working, see you in the morning then" I say dejectedly and walk off to my room. I turn off the lights and flop into bed, suddenly I want to see Natus, Wendy, Erza, Gray and Happy and Charle, "Oh Lisanna, why did you do this?" I whisper and feel a tear drip down my face. That night I cry myself to sleep. I cry for my lost friendships. For my lost friends. And for myself.

The next day, in Telekinesis. Still Lucy's POV:

"Hey Henry?"

"Come in Lucy!"

I walk into Henry's room, seeing Spider already jumping around excitedly. "Hewwo Lushy" she greets me as I come in. "hello Cutey pie" I reply with affection for the little girl and rub her head. "Okay, sit down girls" Henry orders and we do as he says, though Spider keeps fidgeting. "Today we are going to try meditating again before using the same technique that we have been practicing to move these coloured rocks" Henry places a rock in front of each of us, "Henwy I don't want a wed one I want a bwue one like Lushy!" Spider whines and Henry sighs and replaces Spiders red rock with a blue rock. "Okay is that better? Now close your eyes and concentrate! Lucy if you want you can go into Peace if that helps, sorry I only just learnt about it from Elfled otherwise I would have told you to use it sooner" Henry sighs "that's okay Henry. Thanks" I reply and close my eyes. As soon as my eyes are closed I snap into Peace and imagine the blue rock slowly moving before a corner lifts slightly and then the whole thing floats into the air. "That's it Lucy, nearly there!" Huh? Why is Henry encouraging me? I'm probably not even doing anything! I think in confusion, "Lushy, you're doing it...You're doing it!!!!" Spider cries in excitement and I open my eyes "What do you me- Oh, that's what you mean" I say in a stupified tone of voice because when I looked at my rock it was floating just as I had imagined it to do. Slowly and hesitantly I move the rock around in the air before it finally hits me, I'M ACTUALLY MOVING THE ROCK!! I look up in excitement at Spider and Henry who are smiling down at me "Well done Lucy, I shall tell your Mother that we have finished, and in record time too!" I stare at him in confusion "What do you mean? I only lifted the rock in front- Hang on Spider why are you so tall?"
