Fairy Tail forever! Right?

Chapter 8

Lucy's POV:

Someones been following me, I'm sure of it now! Once I walked out of the forest near Oak Town  I went through various other villages and towns keeping to the shadows and sleeping in fields or forests and occasionally a really cheap Inn when I had the money for it. I earned money by going on random unimportant jobs, the ones people don't give to Guilds so I have just enough to buy food and other necessities. I practice using my magic every day and sometimes I feel like I'm becoming fractionally better but I'm still pretty weak compared to others in Fairy- NO don't think about them, they probably found my clothes by now and think I'm dead! But two days ago I got the sensation that someone was watching me, I was in a market place, my hood was down because no one would recognise me, even if they knew me before I changed and I was buying food for the next week and the back of my neck prickled, I didn't see anyone in particular watching me of course, there were too many people in the crowded market place To pinpoint who was watching me and any way why would someone be watching me? I was just another passers by Buying food and other stuff! So I ignored the sensation and moved on, then yesterday I had the feeling again when I was walking towards the village that I'm in now, again I ignored the sensation of feeling watched but then today I had the feeling again and even heard footsteps behind me when I walked down a deserted street which leads us up until now. I'm walking out of town and am sure of being followed so I duck into a side street really quickly and wait, the footsteps that I heard a few minutes ago become closer and I hold my breath, they are just about to walk past and I grip my whip hard enough to turn my knuckles white. I jump out and yell "WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING-!!???!" With my whip before me to protect myself, but I stop in shock because a person just as heavily cloaked as me is standing before me "huh?" I gasp as the person lowers it's cloak to reveal brown hair and most startling of all, golden eyes "Yeah sorry about acting all creepy, it's just that I had to make sure that you were a wizard and all." Says the young boy standing in front of me "Who are you?" I ask confusedly "Oh my name is Yatoe and I was sent out to look for weak wizards who work alone or people who want to become to take them back to my mistresses mansion so that she can train them, but that's only if you want to come" replies the boy calmly "why should I trust you? I barely know you I exclaim "look it's a simple matter of yes or no if you want to come with me to become stronger!" Says the boy rudely, completely ignoring my question.

Five minutes later:

"Why am I following you? Or even trusting you? You could be a stalker for all I know!"

"Shut up and stop your grumbling! Ugh why did the first  wizard I met have to be you?"

"Excuse me?!!?!! You were the creep that was following me!"

"Ugh"

"Jeeze why is that boy so..rrrr...so annoying!" I growl frustratedly "we're finally here" Yatoe sighs in relief. We have stopped in front of two very large gates situated in the middle of a wall with trees peeking over the edges, I can faintly here the sounds of a stream an a waterfall. Yatoe drags open the gates and I gasp because what is in front of me looks like something from a story, every type of tree you could imagine has been grown with weeping willows leaning over a large stream that has water lilies floating in the water and Japanese maples have been planted with bamboo around a lovely little waterfall that leads into the stream, a pathway follows along the edge of the stream and surrounding the whole place is a smaller than usual sized forest. Yatoe leads the way up the path and  as we come round a bend I am shocked to see the top half of a huge mansion peeking over the tops of the trees, "thank the gods, if I was stuck a minute longer with you I think I really would die, OF BOREDOM!!" I yell the last part at him and he sweat drops "you were the one who was boring! All you did was talk the whole way here!" He says, opening up the door to the mansion "Hello Yatoe, Welcome back" greets a small woman who is standing inside the open doorway "Hi Gretta, where's the mistress? I have a new recruit for her to train" greets Yatoe politely back and it's my turn to sweat-drop at his politeness to the woman but not me "She's in her study" replies Gretta the woman "Thank-you, oi, this way lady. And don't touch anything!" Yatoe says the last part to me as he brushes past Gretta and leads me into an expensively furnished room with stairs leading up and two corridors leading off, one in front and the other to the left. Yatoe leads the way to the stairs and starts walking up them slowly, "don't embarrass me and act grateful" he orders me but I'm not really taking any notice because of the vases, exotic flowers, beautiful paintings and- CLUTTER?!?!? What?!? There are so many books and random objects on the stairs I think amusedly to myself "OI! Are you even listening?" Yells Yatoe as we come to a stop outside a huge door "we're here" he says lowering his voice. Yatoe reach's out to knock on the door "Come in" a gentle voice calls out hmm, that voice sounds familiar I speculate to myself as the door opens to reveal a big study filled with....wait for it...MORE CLUTTER!!!!! Yatoe pushes me roughly into the study calling out "I've brought another wizard for you to train mistress!" Before closing the door behind him as he leaves, leaving me to look around at the place "I'll be right with you, sorry" apologises the woman in a lilac dress and blonde hair who is standing behind an oak desk with her back to me and is reaching up to put some books on a shelf, Hang on! I recognise that hairstyle and fashion!! But, it can't be- "sorry about that, I just finished reading up on my magic history and had to put the books away, what's your name?" Asks the woman kindly as she turns around revealing a face with hazel brown eyes and-

 "MUM?!?"

A/N: sorry this chapter is so short, I'll make it larger next time, hope you liked it and hey Lucy, I kept my promise of making a happy chapter-

Lucy: *kicks author into sky* THAT WAS HARDLY A HAPPY CHAPTER!!! First of all it didn't have Happy in it and second, YOU MADE ME REALLY SAD ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST CHAPTER!

Happy: AYE SAH!!!!

Author: Okay I'll make the next one even happier! *says with happy face and sparkles coming off body*

Lucy:*demon face, dark aura surrounds body* YOU'D BETTER!!

Author:*run's away*

Natsu: Wow Lucy, you're becoming scary!

Lucy: What did you say

Natsu: Haha..Nothing

Lucy: That's what I thought

Gray: Well actually Natsu said that you were scary!

Lucy: *Kicks both of them into the sky and they become a twinkle in the sky*

Erza: Nawwwww, I'm so pwoud of you Lushy! *Nuzzles Lucy's face*

Lucy: Erzaaaaa *pouts*
