Fairy Tail forever! Right?

Chapter 9

Lucy's POV

"MUM???!??" 

I gasp because the lady standing in front of me is Layla Heartfilia, my mother who is supposed to be dead! "huh?" Layla/Mum asks confusedly and I remember that she wouldn't recognize me because I have changed "oh sorry don't worry, I thought you were someone else" I mumble cursing myself, "No, that's okay, anyway, my name is Layla and I will be training you for the next few weeks until you are strong enough to survive without a guild to help you" Mum smiles at me and I weakly smile back "Now whats your name and what magic do you use?"

"Uh, my magic is Celestial" I reply, avoiding answering Mum's question about my name. Suddenly it hits me, Oh and your hair can return to normal and back if you wish it! Cancer says in my memory "Really? My original magic is Celestial too and my daughters was as well" exclaims Mum sadly, then she turns around saying "Anyway, here are some book's about Celestial magic. How strong are you and what Keys do you have?" I take the chance to wish my hair back to it's original shoulder length and blonde hair hoping that it works and I am delighted when it does when Mum turns around and gasps in shock, dropping the books she's holding "LUCY?" she whispers in shock with tears welling at the corner's of her eyes "Yes Mum it's me" I reply happily "b-but you are supposed to be in Magnolia working in the Guild Fairy Tail" she whispers shocked and I feel happy that she has been watching over me all this time but I cringe when I hear the name Fairy Tail "yeah, about that, they kinda kicked me out quite literally actually" I say sadly and then shout at her "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!? I thought you were dead and then I am taken here and find that my dead mother has been training people in magic and hasn't even once tried to contact me!" 

"I'm sorry darling, I wanted to but I couldn't in case your Father found out that I had faked my death and sent wizards after me, I wanted to become magically stronger and learn more magic's so I could face your Father, I also wasn't ready to explain to you why I had faked my death"

"You sti-Hang on did you say that you have learnt other types of magic?"

"Yes, I can teach them to you if you want?" asks Mum hopefully "Yes please Mum, I also need to become stronger to face my ex-guild mates" I agree excitedly "Why did you say ex?" Mum asks suspiciously "I already told you, they kicked me out" I say sadly "What, why? I have kept a watch over you and I'm incredibly proud of how strong you have become with your Celestial spirits but Fairy Tail sounded like they considered you as family!" Mum exclaims, shocked "I don't know, they suddenly turned on me and beat me up!" I reply "Tell me everything" Mum orders so I do, sitting down on a sofa I tell her everything from when I first met Natsu and Happy, she did say everything anyway! Mum doesn't interrupt once and just sits down behind the desk and when I get up to the most recent part of the story her face becomes shocked and then goes dark with rage "WHAT?!? HOW COULD THEY DO THAT?" she shouts when I'm done "I swear I'm personally going to kill them" she mutters angrily, pacing around her room wow I've never seen Mum like this I think shocked, "h-hey Mum it's Okay, I've already forgiven them, don't worry" I try to reassure her "How could you forgive them for what they have done to you? You have a lot of courage and strength to do that" Mum sighs, sitting down again at least she's calmed down! I think with relief "they are pretty much my family now' I explain to Mum and she nods in understanding "Mum for the past year you could have contacted me without Dad knowing!" I then say crossly, "What do you mean darling? He still would have eventually found out, he has been keeping track of you and he knows something is wrong with my death" Mum asks confusedly "he wouldn't have found out Mum because he is dead and has been since I came back from Tenrou Island" I say sadly "What??" gasps Mum in shock, going absolutely still, "that's not possible!" 

The next Day:

"WAKE UP, WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD, RISE AND SHINE, TIME TO-Oof" Yatoe is cut off from whatever he was going to say by me automatically slapping him, I was still half asleep and I forgot who he was for a few minutes! "HEY WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR????!!!!??" shouts Yatoe pouting at me from the floor as I blearily open my eyes turning over I mumble into my pillow "oo-ont-af-to-out"
