Braces In Heaven

Yesterday was when I felt alive again.  Now I have a purpose to look forward to go to school. At first I had doubts but now,  it all disappeared.  Thanks to Alice.

I just woke up and I look like a creep.  Grinning from ear to ear,  reminiscing what had happened yesterday.

I looked at my bedside table and smiled again.  Looking at the blue-green flower I had picked up yesterday.  I did give her the other one.

I fixed myself and went on my way. The place I'm living at was near to the university so I didn't have to pay for transportation.  I can save money by walking to and from school.

I took my time today.  I didn't rush. It was quite a waste+ if I rush,  wouldn't it? I saw a car stopped by and the window rolled down.

" Morning" someone greeted.

I looked behind and in front to see who that person was greeting.  But they were far off.

" It's you, silly" she giggled. 

I know this giggle.  It was new and yet familiar.  I looked at the person and saw that it was Alice.  She motioned me to come closer and so I did.

" You should meet my friend" I looked at her with a confused face.

" Ash" she said.

"Ashley actually" a girl said from inside the car.

"Same thing Ash" the girl inside just crossed her arms and looked away.

" You should get inside" she opened the door.

I pointed at myself and she just nodded.  How could I say no.  I went inside and sat beside her.  I looked at Ashley and realized that she was the person yesterday.

"  How are you?  Are you feeling better? " I asked her. 

She was taken aback, she doesn't realized that I was asking her.  She looked at me then at Alice.

" How did you know? "

"  You had a fever yesterday when Alice carri-" I was cut off when Alice covered my mouth.

She shh-ed me while putting a finger on her lips. Guess she doesn't want Ashley to know what had happened yesterday.

" Alice what?" she asked confused and was expecting me to continue what I was saying.

" Nothing.  It's nothing you need to be curious of.  Haha" that was an awkward laugh,  hope she didn't noticed it.

I looked at Alice and she was shaking her head from left to right slowly.  It's gonna be a secret.

" You should stop spacing out" Alice said as soon as we arrived the university.

I went out of the car and waited for Alice. Alice waited for Ashley. I only noticed now that Alice was wearing the uniform. It looks cute.

" Thanks" she smiled at me.

" How did you?" I asked.
