Soft and Softly

Once upon a time came a day
When fate finally had us meet
You were not a big deal to say
& I was a man standing on his feet

Oh we met soo frequently
so we were supposed to be friends
But you had something different apparently
for a bacteria like you we know how it ends

Between then and now, things went differently
You were a small collection in the entry site
And proliferated fast but still, independently
then invaded my carcass,I didn't think you might

with time, my body was changing slowly
First, an extreme weight loss
An emaciation that went abnormally
looked like you're becoming the boss

Then this temperature increasing adaptively
Low grade fever then fever with chills
Vomiting,asthenia but unfortunanetly
I was careless and that what kills

My lungs affected: interstitial, bronchiolar then alveolary
Cough,expectoration sometimes hemoptysis
Of course you affected the rest of my organs eventually
so It is an uncurable illness says the diagnosis

I wasn't precautious enough i have to admit
now nothing doctors do works efficiently
no treatment can punish the crime you comit
and no concept can forgive my mistake sadly!

Oh!
You were a bacteria now you're a disease
because of you i became the prisoner of my body
You could destroy mine and anyone's with ease
....i realize, even though alive but dead already

Nothing but the slave of your needs
Now i'm dying in silence, darkness but softly
Was a conqueror and yet a victim of your deeds
Hence, your soft progression ends me helplessly
