Origami

Give me a square piece of paper
And a preliminary base
I am the origami folder
Of a crane, a flower or a vase

Give me a piece of paper, of any form
And let me do nature in dimensions
It can be usual, it can be out of the norm
Two& three D, modular or tessellations

Playing with geometry on a creasing pattern
Who said math can't be applied to reality?
A diagram of fractal, and a clever name you'd earn
Step by step from start to finality

Symetrical to the center point or line
Lots of bases like square, triangle and bird
Pandora box, not so real but looks so fine
Kusumada, and the magical ball if you heard

Creating models and the way to fold
Cherishing the talent of origamists
You'd enjoy legendary stories untold
Of the art that's practised by clever artists

Those who seek folds, those who seek shapes
Both kids and adults shouldn't fear to abuse
A bit more like painting a landscape
The origami is to astonish and to amuse.
