Hey, here is chapter 3! On the top is 7 years by Lukas Graham, I just love this song, and he is Danish like me btw so that is just a plus. Anyway I hope you like it...

I couldn't seem to concentrate on anything after that horrible incident. There was only room for one thing in my brain and that was how he was going to destroy my life and make me miserable. He was going to tell everyone that I had a job, and that I had lied to everyone. I was going to lose my reputation, my friends, my dance team, my everything. And all because of that obnoxious, little jerk of a...

"Isa are you okay?" Carmen's voice brought me out of my internal battle, well not as much a battle as me just yelling at myself and insulting Landon with words that I'd rather not say out loud.

"Yeah of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" I scoffed looking at her. She had a worried look on her face.

"Because you held coffee over your hand without noticing, and now you have been cleaning the same spot on the counter for 10 minutes."

I stopped what I was doing and looked down at my hand that was now lying on top of the rag on the counter. It was quite red and burned a little, but luckily Carmen had grabbed my hand, and put it under some cold water before I could even comprehend what had happened.

"Sorry Carmen, I guess I'm just a little distracted that's all," I said with a sigh as I turned around to face her, but I couldn't look her in the eyes so I looked at the all but sparkling floor instead.

"I can see that. Who was he anyway, an ex-boyfriend or something?" Carmen asked.

"He is definitely something," I scoffed as I crossed my arms over my chest. "I don't really want to talk about it."

"Suit yourself, but you know that I'm always here if you want to talk. And please watch what you are doing, I don't want you setting this place on fire," she said the last part with a small smile and at sparkle in her eye. I scoffed, but couldn't help but smile at the same time.

"Yeah mom," I said as I rolled my eyes and got back to work.

It was nearing 9 pm when I finally pulled into the driveway of my two-story home in the outskirts of Sacramento. We didn't really have that much to do the rest of the evening, which caused my thoughts to roam freely, and the long drive home didn't really help either. My mind was a dark place and would one day cause my destruction I was sure of it. I needed something to distract me, and I needed it bad.

I pulled into the driveway behind my dad's car, parked the car and hopped out. I grabbed my stuff from the trunk and walked up the small pathway towards the front door. The stones were old and cracked and in desperate need of a cleaning, but you hardly didn't notice because of the beautiful flowers surrounding either side of the pathway. There were roses, lilies and some many other kinds of flowers that I didn't know the name of. The garden was my mom's pride and joy, and she guarded it with her life. The front of the house was white, and you could see that it had been fixed at couple of places, but the boring outside of the house really made the garden pop.

The door squeaked as I walked inside alerting my presence. I took off my shoes before walking into the small living room, which took up most of the space on the first floor. I liked our house; it was small, but it had a homey feel to it. The cream sofas were old, but comfortable, and there were scattered magazines all over the dark wood coffee table. The walls were painted a light grey and were covered with family photos of me, my mom and my dad, but also my grandparents. That was really the only family I had.
