Luke P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning around 10am. I threw on a shirt, quickly and walked out to the living room where everyone sat. Aleigha saw me first, blushing and covering her face once again. Yes, her hair was down with her glasses on again. She was beautiful as always.

"Finally, you're awake," Michael teases. "Must of been a good dream." I sit next to Aleigha, brushing my hand against hers.

"It wasn't a dream," I mumble, only for her to hear. I feel her tense up. I placed my hand on her hand for a second and felt her relax. I pulled away and felt her stare on me. I looked at Michael. "What are we watching?"

"Spongebob," they all say in unison. Even Aleigha. I roll my eyes.

"We actually were about to go out to eat for brunch," Mariah said. "Did you want to come?"

"Nah," I say. "It's Saturday. I wanna stay here."

"Aleigha," Michael asks, gently. "Did you want to come?"

"No thank you," she says. I smile at her voice. "I'm not very hungry."

"All right," Michael states, standing up. "Cashton, Mariah, let's go." They all stand up, as Michael grabs his keys.

"Make sure to put the top on your car, Mikey," I say. "It's still raining really bad."

"Yes, sir," he salutes me. I laugh.

"Bye guys," I smile. They all wave and leave.

"It's really cute how close you all are," she says.

"We try," I say. "What about curly hair? Isn't he your best friend?"

"Harry," she corrects. "And I don't know anymore. He left me out in the rain."

"Wait, what," I exclaim. "Why?"

"He saw you... kiss me on the cheek," she says. I smile at the hesitation. "He got angry when I told him that he's not my boyfriend and dropped me off on the side of the road." She shrugs. "Mariah was there and here we are now."

"What a jealous prick," I say. "No offence."

"None taken," she replies. We sit there in silence for a bit until she speaks up. "Luke?" I hum in response. "Why did you kiss me last night?"

"Want the truth or the lie to impress you," I smirk, recalling our conversation from yesterday.

"The truth," she actually answers. I smile.

"I want you to want me the way I want you," I say it, confidently. When truly I was scared out of my mind.

"And what do you mean by want," she asks.

"I want to be able to kiss you and hold you," I say. "I want to call you mine. I want to hold your hand and embarrass you by bragging how beautiful you are to everyone. I want to hug you when you're having a bad day, cuddle you whenever you need it. I want to get to know you more. I want you." She stares at me, astonished.

"Luke Hemmings," she says. "I think you just won my heart." I smile and move her hair out of her face.

"Can I kiss you," I ask and she nods. I lean down and brush my lips against hers. It felt so familiar although I've only kissed her once before. I completely connect our lips and she gasps in surprise. I lightly wrap my right arm around her waist and move my left hand to her cheek. She places her hands on my chest. Her lips were so soft, making me focus on nothing else but her. I brought her closer to me as she lifted her hands from my chest to my neck to my hair. I ran my tongue against her bottom lip but then her phone starts ringing. We both sigh, pulling away.

"Hello," she answers. "Yes, mom. I'm fine." She rolls her eyes. I smirk at her. "The whole weekend, yes." She was so beautiful when she was flushed and frustrated. "Yes, mom. I'll be fine." She ran a hand through her hair. "Yeah, yeah. Love you too." She hangs up and smiles lightly at me. I wink at her and she blushes, covering her face with her hands for the thousandth time.

"Please don't do that," I say, moving her hair. I gave her a light peck on the lips. "I love your eyes. Don't hide them." She blushes. I kiss her again, longer this time. When I pull away, she smiles. "Tea?"

"Yes, please," she nods. We get up, me grabbing her hand and kissing it lightly. We walk to the kitchen. She let go of my hand, sitting on the counter. "I like this side of you, Luke." I turn to grab a kettle and boil water.

"My normal side," I question.

"I just never got to know you," she says.

"I'd like you to," I tell her.

"I'd love to," she answers. I stand between her legs and grabs her cheeks, kissing her again. I press my forehead to hers when I pull away.

"It feels awesome that I can do that whenever I want now," I smile. She returns it. "Can I take you out tomorrow? On an actual date? You deserve that."

"Absolutely," she says. I kiss her again.

"Good," I reply.

"Good," she repeats, tugging me close to her. This time in a hug. Me being over six foot made the hugs amazing because I towered over her small body. She was about 5' 7". "Thank you," she whispers.

"For what," I bury my face into her neck.

"For giving me a chance," she says.

"I should thank you," I say. "For giving me the opportunity to be with you after all I did."

"You did nothing though," she pulls a bit away so our foreheads were touching again.

"I did everything," I frown a bit.

"No, Luke," she says. "I forgive you. For everything. Don't feel bad. Because in the end, I'm yours and you're mine." She kisses me when I finally noticed the boiling water overflowing.

"Shoot," I say, turning off the beater. "Well there goes the tea. And now hot waters all over the floor." I hear her chuckle. "You think this is funny, huh?" She closes her mouth and shakes her head. "Mmhmm." She gets off the counter, running away. I smirk and start to run after her. This was going to be fun.
