Dang it, I'm in love (NaLu genderbend)

Chapter One

A boy in his teens with longish blond hair and chocolate brown eyes walked down the street. He had headphones over his ears and bopped his head along to the music. This boy's name is Lucas (Luc) Heartfillia. He is the oldest and only son of Judy and Leo Heartfillia.

Luc had run away from his mother who was very strict and mean. He was currently in the city of Magnolia, he would soon be attending Fairytail High. The walk sign turned green and he walked across the street. A short-ish girl with short, spiky, pale pink hair ran by him.

Despite it being 80 degrees out she was wearing a white, scaly textured scarf that flowed out behind her when she ran. She was wearing white shorts with black on the bottoms. She was also wearing a black and orange vest over a white t-shirt with a red symbol on it. This girl jumped up onto the curb and disappeared around the corner.

Little did Luc know that, that girl was going to change his life. He walked around the corner and walked up the stairs to his apartment. He sat down on his bed and grabbed his laptop off the nightstand opened up to a draft he was working on.

As he was typing his phone dinged. He picked it up. One new message. He opened it.

Levi: Hey dude! Heard that you're attending Fairytail High on Monday, I'll give you a tour if you get there early.

                                                                                                K man I'll be there

Luc set his phone down and glanced over at his school uniform neatly folded on his bureau. It was a dark blue jacket over a white button down shirt with a red tie and gray pants. There was a red symbol on the breast pocket. Luc looked at the symbol. It was the same one the girl he saw earlier had on her shirt. Could she go to Fairytail High?

Luc shrugged and went back to writing the draft.

Meanwhile.......

Remember that girl earlier? Well her name's Natsumi Dragneel. Natsumi lives with her pet cat, Happy. Natsumi's adopted mother disappeared just about seven years ago. Natsumi lived with her aunt before eventually moving in to her own apartment. Natsumi's sister, Zera, also disappeared. But Natsumi still stayed happy.

Natsumi opened the door to her apartment where she was greeted by Happy. She walked into her bedroom and flopped down on the bed. Natsumi is also a student at Fairytail high, she's a second year and also the captain of the track and basketball team.

Natsumi glanced at her school uniform messily folded on her bed stand. Natsumi took the picture of her family before her parents died off of her desk. She was about two years old in that picture. Her father had her on his shoulders and was holding a seven year old Zera with his arm. Natsumi and her father had the same shade of pink hair. Zera looked more like their mother.

Natsumi's mother was beautiful. She had spiky black hair and had the same eyes as Natsumi. Natsumi wiped away tears and put the picture back on the stand. Natsumi picked up Happy and held the small, blue-ish gray, cat to her chest and buried her nose in Happy's head.

Happy purred and rubbed her head on the bottom of Natsumi's jaw. Natsumi shook the sadness away and put Happy down.

"Well Happy, I'm gonna have to keep smiling no matter what!"
