"How was school?" Kat was asked by her mother as she walked in the door. Kat had a smile painted on her face all day, she was genuinely happy, all because of Lydia.

"Great! How was work?" She asked back to her mother, as she rushed around trying to make diner.

"Okay, I have to go back out though." Kat stopped her, she knew how stressed out her mother was, she was a lawyer, a great one too.

"I can make myself food." Kat reassured her mother. She nodded before grabbing her purse and grabbing a pile of paper. Kat continued to make the spaghetti her mom was making as she left. Kat started to miss her father, he was in Denver since her parents got a divorce last year, but Kat remained happy, just thinking of Lydia. The brunette grabbed her phone from her leather black jacket and noticed a few texts from a certain strawberry blonde. She quickly read each one, it was just Lydia apologizing for what happened, it seemed like Lydia didn't feel the same way as Kat did.

"Great." She said with a sighing placing her phone onto the wooden table. She quickly finished making her self a meal and ate it. She just couldn't stop thinking about Lydia. She sat there at the table staring at her small phone waiting for another text from Lydia. Suddenly she heard a howell. Her eyes widened at the noise, their were no wolves in California maybe in Denver but not here. She quickly stood up from her seat and walked outside. She was a boy running naked throughout the streets but he wasn't just a boy. He was extremely hair and almost wolf looking, and that didn't distract Kat from noticing how extremely fast he was. Kat ran back inside, she thought she was fearless until she saw that thing running around.

"Lydia, you would have been scared to death!" Kat said sitting beside Lydia in the cafeteria for lunch. She was quiet about this topic, making Kat very curious.

"Lydia? Do you know something?" She finally asked the question. But she totally changed the topic fast.

"Hey the boys are practising, let's watch." She said before standing up and grabbing Kat's hand. The left the cafe, Lydia's hand still rapped around Kat's wrist, tightening every second.

"Ouch." Kat groaned in pain. Lydia ignored her squeal continuing to walk towards the field. They sat on the benches in silence, Lydia pretended to watch the boys but Kat knew she just was avoiding something, Kat assumed it had something to do with her.

"Lydia, what's going on?" Kat tried to get her to talk. But she shrugged not making eye contact with Kat. Then Kat started to think, maybe it's because of yesterday, she thought. She didn't want to make Lydia uncomfortable.

"I have to go." Kat said getting up, she smiled at Lydia before walking away. Lydia did the same, still staying silent. The brunette made her way off the field, she decided not to go into the school and just leave. She definitely didn't go the forest route, that was too risky, in her opinion. She walked on the grey sidewalk, she knew the walk was long but she didn't care, she just wanted to go home and take a nice nap, something that she always enjoyed.

"Where is my phone?" Kat shouted to herself. She heard it vibrating. She got off the bed, where she had been napping and saw her phone on the ground. She quickly snatched it, looking at her texts, several coming from Lydia. The most recent one read 'we need to talk are you busy?' Kat quickly moved her fingers, texting her back. She told Lydia to come over. Nobody was home so she didn't have to worry about her mom embarrassing her. She got out of bed looking in her mirror noticing her makeup messed up.

"Shit." She whispered to herself, running to the bathroom and fixing her face. She also brushed her hair and teeth, just in case. She smiled in the mirror as she heard the doorbell ring and ran down stairs to see Lydia.
