Chapter 13 - Masaomi...-kun

I woke up in my bedroom with a cold towel on my forehead. So now it was time to recollect my memories. Okay so I was in Kaname's room then I suddenly passed out from...a cold? Fatigue? Whatever it was it made me sick to my stomach. I had a hunch on who was at my bedside.

"Masaomi?"

"Oh, Saki-chan. You're awake."he says taking off the towel on my head and replacing it with a new one.

"Am I really sick?"I groan.

"Yes you are."Masaomi chuckles."You should try wearing a jacket when you leave the house."

I face palmed when I realized it was still the middle of February...wearing shorts and tank tops may not be the best idea.

"Sorry, I forgot about the month."I lamely excuse causing Masaomi to laugh out loud.

"You really need to check your calendar then."

"Wait...what day is this?!"I gasp.

"Don't worry Saki-chan, still three more days to go until the trip."

I sigh and cover my face with my comforter.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm hibernating for three days."I yawn.

"You haven't even taken your medication yet Saki-chan."Masaomi whines as he attempts to pull my covers down.

"No!"I squeal, rolling around in my bed."I hate liquid medication! It tastes so bitter!"

"You're acting like such a child Saki-chan. You should be glad I'm a pediatrician."he smiles."Now hold still."

I stop moving and pull down the covers, only showing my big magenta eyes. Masaomi pulls out a bottle of grape flavored medication and takes a spoon. He pours a generous amount on as I look in horror.

"Open wide Saki-chan!"he says moving the spoon near my mouth.

I lower the covers slightly and pout.

"You don't have to baby me Masaomi. I am perfectly capable o-"

Masaomi slides the spoon in and out of my mouth in a flash, causing me to lay there confused and slightly irritated.

"Cheater...I was talking."I sigh.

"So, at least you took the medicine."

"I feel much better now! I need to record some videos and edit som-"I start to sit up until Masaomi puts a hand at my chest to stop me from getting up any further.

"You are not getting up from that bed until you are 100% better."

"Please, on who's order?"I ask.

"Ema-chan."smiles Masaomi.

I sigh and nod. I've been doing a lot of sighing since I've gotten here. So much stress I can't... That was when I realized Masaomi's hand was still at my chest, slightly a little to close too my breast for comfort. I suddenly felt light-headed, my vision starts to blur making me lean sharply to the right.

"Saki-chan!"

Masaomi catches me before I could hit the ground with both hands. One held the side of my head and another found itself on the side of my right breast. He blushes and we stay frozen in that position until my vision clears.

"M-Masaomi..."I whisper."I-I'm...kinda..."

"Are you dizzy? We may need to go to the hospital."

"N-No...It's just...I'm sensitive there..."

I blush a little myself as I touch the back of Masaomi's hand. He immediately removed his hand and laid me back on my bed.

"S-Sorry, please forgive me."he apologizes, flustered.

"I-It's fine."

"..."

"..."

We stay absolutely silent. More for awkward reasons than anything else. I understand how Chii feels, living with so many men.

"Will you be alright for a while?"Masaomi asks.

"Yeah."

"I'll be going to work, just call Kyo-nii if you need anything."

I nod my head and hear my door open and Masaomi taking his bag from my desk.

"Thank you for taking care of me Masaomi...-kun."I whisper just loud enough for him to hear me.

"I-It's nothing really, just making sure you're okay...that's all."he says."We all really care about you Saki-chan."

"I know...But I worry about being a burden to you and the others. You all care about me very much, but no matter what you guys do...I'm just Ema's friend. Nothing more."

I turn onto my side and face the wall.

"You are not a burden Saki-chan. Just remember, Rintarou told you to live here. He's my father now, and I trust him. And I'm glad I did. Because if I didn't, I wouldn't have met you."

With that the door closes and I am left there to contemplate about life...specifically mine, and my future with these brothers.
