It was the 30th of March, and Katie, Oscar, Nathan and I were in detention. Just for a recap, here's what happened:
Basically, we were in chemistry, and Nathan, being the idiot he is, decided to be *clever* and try and blow out the Bunsen burner we were using. Surprisingly, although it didn't go out, a big ball of fire departed from the main body of the flame and set our teacher's sleeve on fire, thus landing us all in detention.
During detention, we had to clear out our chemistry store cupboard, and believe me, it was HELL. I mean, it's not every day that you get to see the messiest cupboard in the world. There were books, papers of old students that hadnt been put away. I was talking to Katie, and Nathan to Oscar, when suddenly we heard a commotion coming from further down the science block. What could it be? After a few moments of standing stock-still, a science teacher came sprinting into the classroom, coughing and spluttering, shouting at us to evacuate the building. Confused, we ran out, into a smoke-filled, dusty corridor. Only a few seconds of standing there, and we were swept up by a mob of students, all running for the exit. Finally, when we got out, we managed to stop Charlotte, a blonde haired, wolf addicted girl with glasses.
"What HAPPENED here?" I asked Charlotte
"Well you see, we were burning crisps, to see how many calories were in them, and someone messed up, and held the crisp there for too long, so, well, you can see the aftermath of that," Charlotte replied quickly. "But quick, I suggest we evacuate the building; the smoke's coming our way."
"Right. Good idea," Oscar said, agreeing with her, a little too quickly.
