Books and rocks

Ares had stumbled across an odd looking tree it had giant roots all over the place
" this looks like the cave from my dream."
Ares walked inside she could see a light from up ahead soon she had found her self in a small chamber
There was a small stone table in the middle of the chamber with an odd looking rock with ruins on it
She also found a small book she picked them both up and put them in the small backpack she had .
Not long after that she finally found her horse she had decided to stop by town before she went back .
" excuse me but what time does the library close ." Ares asked the lady who owned the place ." You have about 30 minutes before we close ."
"Okay thank you."
Ares walked over to a table and took out the rock and the book ."excuse me miss where did you find that book I've never seen it here in the library before ." Ares looked up from the book and realized That the table she was at had another person. Ares was lost in her thoughts." When in the world did he show up wait a minute That's the man who was telling a story last night i think his name Aiden ."
" uhh are you going to say something."
Ares snapped out of her thoughts "oh I'm sorry . I just found this book while I was out and I just wanted to try and read it.
Aiden didn't say anything else then looked back down and continued to read. Ares got up and walked over to the librarian." Umm you wouldn't have any books on rocks would you."
"yes right this way ."
" thanks ..hey where did my book go wait Aiden did you take my book ."
It's my property now girl you shouldn't even have this if the Kings men found you with something like this they would..." Aiden paused for a moment.
" they would what ?."  Aiden started to walk out ."Look here keep away from this book and me got it I don't care how you got it or where it is from but it's mine now ." Aiden turned and walked out of the library. Ares grabbed the Rock and chased after him . She screamed." Hey wait that's  mine ....what where did he go he
Just disappeared how ?."
" ares there you are !"
