I watched as revan left when a hand touched my shoulder.
" Ares was it ?." She turned and found Aiden next to her . " what do you want ." ." Ares I'm sorry about you're sister. But right now the most important thing is that I get you to the awakening alive they've been waiting along time for you ."
" why are you helping me ?. I've brought nothing but trouble to you ." Aiden had no expression on his face ." Ares I have always been keeping an eye on you, the story's they are about you ." Aiden said while getting on a horse . " come on siyan will return . And your not ready to take him on ." Ares followed ." What about my sister she needs a proper......" Ares turned around her house was on fire ." What how did you do that ?." She got no response from Aiden .
The next few hours they finally took a break . " can you fight ." Aiden asked ares . " sorta I learned some tricks and I have some hand to hand skills ." Aiden tossed her a wooden stick . " we better get started on your training."
"Ares made the first move and some how ended up on the ground
." Your sister is right you act like a clown ." Aiden said while helping her up . " you need more balance close your eyes and stand on one leg ." Ares did as he said . " how is this spoused to help me ?. "
Aiden whacked her with the stick
." Don't fall over and block my hits ." Aiden and Ares had finished with their first practice and set out on their horses " Ares you have a lot to learn and unfortunately not a lot of time is on our Side, this village in the trees is your new home for the next six years on your 20th birthday you will reach an age where you won't be able to hide from those you choose .they then came to a forest with a village in the tops of the tress . " wow I've never seen anything like this before ." Aiden laughed at her she looked like a kid In a candy store .
Weeks into months and months into years Ares had worked hard for everything, she couldn't wait for the day she could finally unleash everything that had been bottled up, she was ready to face the person she feared the most, the one who took everything from her, Siyan was going. To pay for everything he had done.
Although she had never seen Revan she could feel him she knew he was still out there. sometimes she had dreams of him, and moments where she could feel or hear his thoughts, but they never lasted long before she felt it disappear.
Revan never truly left he was always with her.
Today was a special day it was her 20th birthday,Ares followed Aiden into a bar he told her to stay and not wander off while he attended to some business. Aiden had always done this to her he would leave her here and head off somewhere lord only knows what he's doing. But something felt different this time waking into the bar she felt like all eyes were on her. Ares took a seat at the bar counter like she always did, ordering the same thing, which was dragon fruit tea with a kick of ginger to it to give her extra energy to get her through that day.
