Lost
Chapter One: A Perfect Head Start
***
Everything seems so calm and peaceful. Like everything was in its right place.
Faier took a deep breath of the fresh air from her room's balcony. The cold wind blowing her hair gently as she felt the warmth of the early morning sun. The smile never left the girl's face as she gaze at the astonishing view of the ocean. For a moment she felt like everything was perfect.
School year will start anytime soon so she must enjoy the last day of her vacation as much as she can. Sure school was fun and interesting but it was never this peaceful. Cake-faced girls bitching around everywhere and jerks roaming around the corners of their campus.
She let out a loud sigh. "This perfect getaway will end real soon." She said to herself. "So I might as well do something to make the day longer." As if on cue, she heard a knock on her door with a deep gentle voice speaking behind it.
"Faier? Are you awake?" Her mood lighten up in a span of seconds. The knob turned slowly and open up to a handsome man with mesmerizing blue eyes and a sweet gentle smile on his face. "I see my princess is awake." His smile widen at the sight of the girl.
"Good morning Dad." Faier replied, smiling sweetly at her father.
"Breakfast is ready princess." Her dad said, joining her on the balcony. "Enjoying the view aren't we?" He added putting an arm around her daughter's shoulder.
"School starts tomorrow dad, I won't be able to see this again till next year." Faeir replied pouting. Slightly sadden by the thought.
"Is that so? Well, I guess we should hurry up and grab some breakfast, we have a lot of things lined up." Her father replied before ruffling her hair.
"Really Dad?" Faier asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Oh yes my dear princess, now we should start filling our stomachs, because this will surely be a long day." He replied, guiding her daughter towards the door.
"Eek!" Faier squealed as a water balloon collide and exploded on her face. "That's not fair Dad! Why do you get water balloons while I get water guns?" Faier whined, but her father didn't stop on laughing. They both went down town to join the water fest. "Really dad?" Faier asked annoyed. A random huge balloon flew from nowhere and exploded on his father's face staining his face and clothes with purple ink causing Faier to laugh hysterically, clutching her stomach and almost rolling on the floor.
"Hey!" Her father yelled after recovering.
"Looks who's all wet with-" She didn't get to finish because another balloon flew, it hit her and exploded with blue ink. Now it's her father's turn again to laugh.
"What are you saying again?" Her father teased while throwing balloons at random people. It landed on a group of girls without him noticing because he's looking at his irritated daughter.
Faier saw the girls approach her dad. They're all wearing this short denim shorts and bikini tops. Her father smiled politely at them. The girls giggled flirtatiously making her wanna throw up.
