Chapter Two: Stranger

"What have I done?" Faier could not help but whine as she recall what happened earlier that morning.
"What you did was the right thing." Joey said smiling reassuringly at her. It was of no help anyways. Faier promised her father that she would stay away in trouble but look how her day started? Now she'll have to deal with Cleah's wrath.
"Where's Jai anyways?" Faier asked her friend.
"He's been very busy this past few days." Joey replied, she wanted to say more but she decided against it.
"Busy about what?" Faier asked, brows furrowed in confusion.
"It's not my story to tell. I think you should ask Jairus." Joey replied, glad that Faier dropped the topic quickly.
"Thanks for giving me a ride Jo." Faier said smiling to her friend who had her eyes focused on the road.
"Nah, it's fine." Joey replied smiling. "Here's your stop babe." She added after pulling over Faier's huge house. Faier unbuckled her seat belt and bid her friend goodbye. She waved one last time before dashing to the door.
"Well, aren't you home early?" She smiled as she saw a middle aged woman in a uniform with the other maids lined up.
"Nanny!" Faier gleefully squealed. "I miss you so much." She said hugging the woman that practically raised her.
"I miss you too sweet heart." The woman replied while gently stroking her hair. Faier broke out of the hug and looked around.
"I miss you too, Lilach, Jammy, Trixie, you too Felipe and off course you little Tony." Faier said happily. She was glad to be home, glad to be in her real home with people she knew and grew up with.
"I see, you've grown m'lady." Felipe said smiling.
"Right, your skin still as fair as ever." Lilach said pouting. "I'm so jelly." She added which made everyone laugh.
"True though. You only left for a few months but you've grown taller." Trixie joined in.
"Yeah! And you look more like a lady now." Jammy added.
"Wait how 'bout Tony? I grew up too!" The little boy said causing everyone to laugh.
"D'aww." Faier cooed pinching the boy's cheek. "Aren't you a cute little one?"
"Do you want something to eat?" Tessa asked.
"No I'm fine. I'll go upstairs now." She replied. "I hope you do mind? I missed my bed."
"Sure hun, just call us when you need anything okay?" Tessa said with a laugh. Faier answered with a thumbs up before dashing all the way to the carpeted stairs.
She didn't expect to miss their house too much. She let out an excited squeal whe she finally reached a white double doors.
"Heaven here I come!" She squealed before pushing through the door and jumping onto her four poster bed. She inhaled the sweet scent of vanilla on the duvet and pillows. She kicked her shoes off and started rolling over her soft bed.
"Ah, my bed." She moaned. "I miss you so much." She said kissing the pillows. All of her troubles flew away as she continued enjoying tthe softness and warmness of her bed. She surely have an extravagant room at their beach house but this, this one is different.
She jumped out of the bed and run towards the glass doors that leads to the balcony. She opened it widely letting the cold wind blew pass her. She sighed, enjoying the wind's cold but comforting embrace. Walking further to the guardrail. Faier can't help but adore the beautiful scenery infront of her. Different sort of plants arrange profesionally around the deck. Flowers of different colors added a beautiful twist to it making it appear like a mini garden. A wooden bench sat at the corner accompanied by the oak table. A swing sat at the other corner, which was surprisingly now covered by vines.
She picked one carnation and tucked it behind her ear not long after she let her hair down. Faier for herself was a beautiful scene to watch.
Behind the trees that sorround their humble abode, a stranger lurk behind the shadows. Silently watching Faier's every move. Its eyes glinting with amusement and its lips ever so often twitching into a smile.
Unaware of the stranger. Faier danced happily to the music of the whirling wind and humming birds. Twirling and hopping as the trees sway. Evey rustling sound, every bird's hum was music to Faier's ears. Accompanied by her soft humming of a song.
The marble floor felt cold on her bare feet but she didn't mind. Her heart was filled with joy and contentment, being so lucky to be in a place like this and have a chance to savour this kind of moment is all ot takes to have her pure heart dance with grace.
Leaning on the balcony's glass door was her bestfriend. Who came just a while ago, and was too amused to talk and interrupt the girls precious moment. He watched as the oblivious girl dance around the place like a beautiful swan.
That few seconds of his life was surely worth remembering, worth replaying, something that he would never trade for anything else, something that he would like to keep forever.
"Jai." Faier's sweet, beautiful voice pulled him back to reality. "You're here." She added surprised by her bestfriend's sudden appearance.
"Oh, yeah." He said dumbly, realizing how Faier looked like an angel, or maybe even a Goddess. He gasped at how much she resembled the Goddess of love Aphrodite. The beautiful smile, the white dress and the beautiful Background. He would've mistaken for an angel if he didn't know her.
"Jai?" Faier called out pulling him back again to earth. "Oh yeah, hi!" He said finally regaining his composure. "It's getting cold out here. Aren't you cold?" He asked, wrapping an arm around her to check if she's good but his hand came in contact with Faier's cold skin.
It was only then that Faier noticed that it was really cold.
Jairus quickly removed his jacket, and wrapped it around Faier's smaller frame. "See you're cold." He said worriedly. Rubbing an arm on her shoulder attempting to make it warmer.
"I'm fine now stranger." Faier joked. "Warm." She said hugging the jacket closer.
"I know I'm hot." Jairus said winking at her.
"I said warm." Faier said. "And I'm pertaining to the jacket not you." She added emphasizing the last two words while rolling her eyes.
