Settling Down

*Melbourne Airport, Australia*

'Good morning everybody, we have landed in Melbourne, and the local time is 0945 hours........."

I unbuckled my seatbelt and streched before standing up to get my bags from the compartment.

"Hey, you need help with that?' a guy with a cute smile asked me, motioning to my bags that i was struggling with.

'Errrr.... Nah, I'm okay. Thanks" I replied back with a smile.

Weird. I thought to myself. But then again, Aussies were known to be more gracious than Singaporeans... (A/N: no offence!) 

I collected my luggage and made my way to the arraval hall, looking around for my God-Mom, and after 15 minutes of looking like a lost sheep, I finally found my whole second family. My godparents and my two brothers were here! It had been so long since I last saw them. We all had a group hug and people around were giving us smiles going 'awwww'. It felt great to be back in Melbourne. My elder brother Justin (A/N: he's my god brother, but oh well) took my bags for me and Julian, my younger brother rolled my luggage as me made our way towards the car.

'So dear, you wanna grab a bite? How about maccas?' my god mom asked me.

'Oh goody, I'm starving!'

*in the car*

 'This is the best, this is the best night'

'OMG!' I screamed, 'quick, turn the volume up please!'

Best Night was playing on the radio and I was singing along to every single word. My god dad and Julian were just staring at me like I was an alien from outer space, while Justin and my god mom just laugh and nodded their heads to the music. I was already enjoying my time so far. I couldn't wait to get home and tweet my friends and family!

After awhile, we finally reached maccas, and my god parents went to order food, leaving me with my two brothers.

'So...' Julian asked, nudging me. 'You like Justice crew? Who's your favourite?'

Justin looked up from his phone and smirked. 'Favourite? Pfft, they're all equally good! nah, i'm just joking. I love them all! but its gotta be Eman who rocks it all.' I laughed.

Food came and we 3 kids gobbled everything down. Julian finished first, then said, 'I'm still hungry!' He was so cute, and he kinda reminded me of Paulie; always looking for food, always hungry.

Back in the car, my godmom asked me 'So Laura, what do you wanna do before you start school? Any list?'

'Nope, not yet, so far, I just wanna get home and contact my family and besties!' eargerly I answered.

Justin heard me, and handed me his phone. 'here, use my phone till we get back. We already got you a new phone and a number, but sadly dad said no 3G'

I gladly took his phone and logged into Twitter.

Finally in Melbourne! Been great so far! #straya
