Unbelievable (A Justice Crew Fanfic)

Chapter 8

*Laura's POV*

It was finally the weekend and it meant that on Monday, I would be in school all alone. Hanging out with Justice Crew while they were having their preparations for the shoot made me a popular kid in school, but it didn't help with me with finding friends. Most of the kids who followed me around or said hi to me mostly did it because I was friends with Justice Crew. Being the newbie in the school, I tried to be friendly, but honestly, it was getting a little annoying to have people leeching onto you so that they could get follows from the boys. I certainly wasn't looking forward to having to go to school and be a loner. I didn't feel like going to school anymore, despite the fact that the tv crew and the boys would be back at my school in another two weeks. Meanwhile, I was having a conversation with Justice Crew on whatsapp. They created a group specially for me.

John: Is everybody free to meet up at 2?

Len: Of course not! Nobody has time for John. ;)

Paulie: Are we gonna have lunch?

Solo: Yeah sure, what's up?

Lukas: Nah, I'll be chilling with Kiara

Samson: Yeaph! But can Chantal come?

Eman: Alright cool

I left my phone on the table and went out of my room to ask my god parents for permission. By the time I went back to my room, my phone said:

And it was still counting. When I reopened the app, I laugh till I ended up tearing. All the boys were doing were calling for me! But they all cheered when I told them I could meet up with them and my curfew was till 10pm. They told me where to meet and I screamed to Justin 'Justin could you send me to St.Kilda's?' and he responded saying that he had to rush his project which was due in a couple of hours. I didn't know what to do. If my parents found out that I had to make my own way to St. Kilda's, they sure as hell wouldn't allow me to meet up with the boys. I was at a loss and I decided to call the twins.

'Ring ring... Ring ring... Hello? Who's this?'

'Hey John? It's Laura... I'm kinda stuck at home with a problem... My bro can't send me to St.Kilda's and I'm pretty sure my parents wouldn't like the idea of me going there on my own... What do I do?' I explained. I had never called John before, but it wasn't awkward since I spent quite a bit of time with him, whenever Eman was around.

'Haha, its okay, I'll come and pick you up? How about sending me your address and you go and get ready?' John reassured me. Phew!

'Thanks John! I'll send you my address right away! You're the best!' I said.

I sent John my address and he replied almost instantly.

From John:

Oh, that's not too far, I'll be over in 10? Go get ready and don't forget to pack some extra clothes, a towel and wear something cool underneath :)

I sighed a sigh of relief. John was a sweetheart! I quickly got changed into a tank top, surf shorts and chucked Justin's hoodie over. His hoodie was so big that when I pulled it down, it looked like I wasn't wearing any shorts. But don't judge, it was nice and warm. I checked the time and grabbed my bag, hugged my god mom goodbye and headed outside to wait for John on the porch. (A/N: My god dad really hates hugs, really)

In a few moments, John's car pulled up just infront of my house and I got in the back since Len was infront with John. 'Hey Len, Hey John, thanks so much for picking me up!' I turned to each of them and kinda hugged them before buckling in.

*John's POV*

I had just taken a shower when my phone was buzzing and the screen was flashing. I was astonished to see that it was Laura calling. I wasn't sure of what to do because she had never called me before and I've only talked to her when Eman was around. I knew Eman had a little something for her and I didn't want to hurt him, but I still picked up anyway.

Hello? Who's this?'

'Hey John? It's Laura... I'm kinda stuck at home with a problem... My bro can't send me to St.Kilda's and I'm pretty sure my parents wouldn't like the idea of me going there on my own... What do I do?' she freaked out. 'Haha, its okay, I'll come and pick you up? How about sending me your address and you go and get ready?' I said, hoping she would chill.

'Thanks John! I'll send you my address right away! You're the best!'

She sent me her address and I knew it wasn't too far off from me and Len's apartment. I chased Len to hurry up and left to start the car up. During the entire journey, I kept thinking 'If she had a problem, how come she called me and not Eman?' I suppose that I was so deep in thought that Len began to tease.

We reached Laura' s house and I lightly tapped my horn. She got up, grabbed her bag and got in the back, giving us both a hug and thanking us. She had let down her hair and she wore a huge Threadless hoodie, probably her brother's. She looked cute. Len gave me a look, raising his eyebrows and I continued to drive to St. Kilda's. I turned the radio on and saw Laura mouth the words of Unbreakable by Faydee and Miracle through my rear mirror. Damn, this girl had a swag taste in music. Getting a feeling that she liked the song, I turned the radio up and gave her a smile, encouraging her to sing out loud. She had a unique voice and she could really sing.

*Eman's POV*

I reached St.Kilda's pretty early and sat on the hood of my car, waiting for the rest to arrive. One by one, the boys came and last to arrive were the twins... and Laura. John turned the engine off and opened the door to take her bag for her, as well as letting her out. I was jealous. I went over to Len and gave him the guy handshake/hug and asked him why Laura ended up with them. He told me that she called John because she couldn't come on her own and he offered to pick her up. I was crushed. Why couldn't she have called me instead? Why did she call John? I looked at Laura once more as John rubbed her head. She saw me and ran towards me, giving me a hug as she always did, but I was still hurt.

*Laura's POV*

John opened the door for me and took my bag, letting me out. I thanked him once again for picking me up and he grabbed me in a headlock, rubbing my head. It was cool, coming from John, but once I saw Eman, I ran over and hugged him like I always did. He hugged me back, but it just didn't feel the same. He wasn't quite himself. I didn't know what was wrong, but I told myself that I was going to find out. A day out at the beach with Justice Crew was awesome. We had Sun, sand, sea and abs... Yes, abs. All the boys just kept looking better and better because ever since they got signed by Pitbull, they stepped up their work outs so much more. We played volleyball till about 4 and when I was going to serve, John and Paulie tackled me, then John carried me over his shoulder, running full speed into the sea, and dumping me in the water. The sea water was freezing. I got out and sat with Eman on the sand to dry off. By the time the boys were done mucking around, John came over and noticed me shivering. He took his shirt from his bag and put it on me, then hugging me to keep me warm. His body was so hard because of his toned muscles and it was really comfy and warm. I felt a lot better after a while and all of us sat together on the sun, admiring the sunset in silence. From the corner of my eye, I saw Eman staring at the beautiful scenery, and saw sadness in his eyes.
