*Len's POV*
The Justice boys and I took turns to keep Laura company while she was in hospital. By wednesday, everybody wasn't in the mood to rehearse and we were too tired from worrying about the girl who lit our world up 25 days ago. During the meet and greet for one of our in-stores, fans noticed that there was something wrong with all of us. Dark circles around our bloodshot eyes. Yeaph, something was really wrong. Our little sunshine wasn't shining because she was in the hospital, and she hasn't woken up for 4 days. My brother and Eman were doing worse than us. During rehearsals and in-stores, they skipped doing their solos because they weren't feeling up for it. Every move they made was lethargic and they couldn't say a word. It was different without my cheeky twin and the bossy Eman. Every night for both of them was a sleepless one as they refused to let any of us take over their night slot to watch over Laura. If they kept going on like this, either one of them would collapse and inconvinience would be our best friend. Before and after every rehearsal ot performance, Lukas would lead us for our prayer circle and everyday we prayed hard for the same thing. We prayed that God will heal Laura and that she will be able to light up our lives again.
'Breeng Breeng.' I looked at the clock on my side table beside my bed. Who the hell was calling me at 6 in the morning. I shoved aside the duvet and got the phone.
'Hello, sorry to bother so early in the morning. This is Doctor Coleson. We need you and all the boys to come over to the hospital straight away. we've got a situation' a deep voice gravely said.
'Alright, thanks doc, I'll inform them right away.'
I shakily put the phone back. What could have happened? No time to talk to yourself Len, I told myself. I quickly messaged everybody and locked my phone. As I put my hoodie on, I looked at my phone lock screen. It was a picture of Laura and our crew outside of the school building. I hoped that I wasn't going to the hospital to learn bad news.

*Doctor Coleson's POV*
It was 5.30 am and I was doing the last of my rounds for my shift. There was a pindrop silence all around the private ward floor. Out of nowhere, there was hushed singing. It came from one of the rooms. I walked closer and I could vaguely hear the song from a door away.
'I won't give up, on us, even if the skies get rough'
It popped my head round the corner and saw John Pearce, one of the twins from Justice Crew, sitting on the chair next to the bed, holding the patient's hand close to his face in both hands, singing to her, on the verge of crying. After the song ended, I leaned against the wall just outside the room, leaving the door slightly ajar, waiting to find out what would happen next. There was dead silence for a few moments, followed by endless and frantic beeping from the heartrate monitor. I rushed it, and the patient's heart rate was dropping at a fast pace. The nurses came in and got John to wait outside. I was handed the defibrillator and I was determined to help this girl. For John Pearce to almost cry over her, she must have been really important. We tried and tried but after the fourth attempt, the beeping changed to a flat tone. I turned away from the girl and took note of the time.
'...... time of death, 0542 hours, 28 July.'
I exited the room and saw John crouched just outside the room. He looked at me expectantly, but I shook my head in response. I got the patient's family contact number and began to dial. I hated having to call patients' kin to relay bad news, but all this was part of my job. Sometimes I wished I was a superhero with a healing factor like Wolverine, but could not only heal himself, but anybody else by contact.
I went back to the room in hope of a miracle, but John stopped me outside. 'Could you.... help me call my brother to tell him to come over?' he hesitantly requested. I nodded and got a piece of paper with a number on it.
'...... we've got a situation.'
Milliseconds after I put the receiver back down, Nurse Emily came running towards me. She told me that Laura's heart beat had returned. Praise the Lord. When I got back to the room, John was out of sight. Laura's heartbeat was faint, but her body was tensing up. We injected some muscle relaxant into her drip tube and left her to rest.
I left to collect my belongings and return the patient files to the office and checked on Laura one last time. Neither her family nor the boys were there yet, so I put my hand on hers, and told her to get well soon. Right there and then, I felt something twitch. I wasn't sure because I was exhausted after working on a 36 hour shift. I could have been hallucinating. I took a step back and her fingers were curling slightly, and slowly.
