Chapter 1:Lost

March 6, 2003

"Mommy were are you!?!"I yelled.

I was wandereing threw a burning forest looking for my mother.Rogue's

were attacking and I got separated when a rogue grabbed me and ran, but a pack member attacked and saved me.

After a while the pack member died, now it's just me.All alone.I slowly walked around a few fighting wolves and made my way to a clearing.As I was walking the sounds of crying filled my head, the smell of blood was in the air.

Rogue's were heartless, they didn't care for you.Soon I reached the clearing to find three rogue's approaching one wolf.I looked closer and saw that it was my mom.

When one rogue lunged out at her she dodged the attack and grabbed hold of the rogue's neck.With one swift motion she ripped it's throat out.That's when the other rogues attacked.

One grabbed her leg while the other grabbed her neck.She let out a shreik as they started pulling.

"No please stop!!" I yelled.

They turned and saw me, they then dropped mom and slowly walked towards me.I was know backed up against a tree, they came closer and closer.

Each step they took scared me even more and more.Soon they were write in front of me, there teeth were stained with blood.Suddenly a loud growl erupted from behind.

Standing behind us was my mom,she looked weak but she was still fighting.

"Look the bitch still thinks she could fight"said one the rogues.

"Let's kill her slowly and make him watch"they said.

They then dashed at her, one tackled her to the ground while the other started taring at her stomach.She finally was able to push them off but she was to weak to continue fighting,she quickly grabbed me and ran into the forest.

Mom was limping but she still ran, but the rogues weren't far behind.They soon were only a few feet away,they would try to bite at her but she was to fast.

All of sudden mom let out growl and threw me ahead.She then turned around and grabbed one of the rogues.She then crushed it's skull by slamming it's head against a rock.

The other rogue looked a little uneasy but he lunged write at her.She managed to dodge it but he quickly turned and bite into her neck.He then shaked her around violently,she tried escaping but she was to weak.

He then dropped her and ran.I immediately ran over and dropped down beside her.

"MOM!?!"I screamed.

Tears ran down my face as I hugged her, she looked down at me.I saw tears come from her eyes.She tried getting up but she immediately fell.

"Ace honey it's ok, everything is fine"she said.

"Mom your hurt, everything is not fine"I said.

She tried getting up but her leg was too torn up,she kept trying but each outcome was the same.

"Ace honey,I not going to make it"she said.

My heart froze, more tears started falling down,she looked at me, her eyes were filled with tears.The puncture marks on her neck were spilling out blood.

"Ace if you keep heading north from here you will reach uncle Fred's pack, tell him about the pack"she said.

"Mom please don't make me leave you"I said.

"Ace i'm not going to make it, and it's not safe here"she said.

"But mo-

"ACE PLEASE JUST GO!!"she yelled.

I stared for little but I forced myself up,I then slowly started walking.I turned back and looked at my mom.

"Ace never forget that I......love you"her head then slowly dropped, her eyes finally shut.

I just stared at her.My heart felt so heavy, it hurted, it hurted so much.I quickly turned and ran.

"Mom......I will never......forget"I said as I ran.

===Sarah (Ace's mom) POV=====================

I listened as Ace ran off.God he's only six, why does this world have to be so messed up.

Ace promise me you'll be safe.I then heard loud footsteps come towards me.But my heart stopped and my life ended

===Ace's POV================================

It's been five hours already, and there was no sign of another pack, infact i think i'm still our pack.

I looked up and saw that it was day.My stomach was killing me, it's been hours since I last ate.I looked around to see if I could find any sign of food, no luck.

I just continued walking.Maybe if I just keep walking I could maybe find something.

But the sun at least kept me warm.Just like mom did.I stopped in my tracks.Mom why did this have to you.I sat down under a tree and cried myself to sleep.

===DREAM========================

I was in the pack garden picking flowers with my mom.The sun was shining brighter than ever.She was smiling, and everything seemed happy.

"Mom look at this flower"I said as I held up a white rose.

"Wow that's pretty"she said.

I stared at the rose for a while.All of a sudden the rose just parished.Then the clouds turned black.Everything felt cold,I looked to my right to see my mom glaring at me.

"It's all your fault"she said.

I just stared at her, what was happening.All of a sudden mom was tackled onto the ground.On top of her was the rogue that killed her.

It then started tearing into her stomach.But she didn't do anything, she just stared at me, no emotions showed.

"It's all your fault" she said.

"It's all your fault that I DIED YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT!!!!"she screamed.

===END OF DREAM===========

I woke up screaming,I was covered in sweat.I looked around to see the it was still day.

Tears ran down my face as I clenched my chest.Mom,why did this happen to you.It ,may have just been a few hours but it felt like forever. Mom I miss you.

But I used all my strength and forced myself up,I have to get to uncle Fred and tell him, it's what mom asked before she......died.

I'm so sorry that this came out late, let's just say that computer exploded.Now all I have is a crappy tablet that sucks.So sorry about this being late.
