Chapter six

          Okay I can do this. I am just going to meet Scar and whoever else is coming with her. But that is not until a couple hours. I am going to get ready and go last minutes Christmas shopping. That should at least make me less nervous, which I doubt. I do not even like shopping. That does not matter.

          Okay so I am here and I do not see anyone. I am a little too scared. Well not scared but nervous. Is that her coming over here? It is her and she is coming with teddy. What am I going to do? I have no clue what to say especially to Teddy. They promised they would text me and that never happened. I hate the fact that they lied to me. I do not think I am going to be able to forgive him. He was like my brother. Now I do not know what he is to me. Well just a friend.

“Anne?” Scar looks at me confused.

“Yeah that is my name.” I smile weakly.

“It is so good to see you.” Scar picks me up and hugs me.

“I would like to say the same thing but I cannot.” Scar looks down.

“We wanted to but our parents did not let us. Teddy and I ran away in order to be together.” Scar starts crying.

“That is funny because I believe there is a thing called a phone. You could have reached me at any fucken time.” Teddy steps in front of scar.

“Anne if you are going to be acting like this then we are leaving.” I laugh at him.

“It is not like if I have not gotten used to being without you two. I bought your daughter a present for Christmas.” I hand them the box.

“Why did you buy Anne a present?” Scar looks confused.

“She did not do anything to me.” I walk away from them.

          My only friends and I pushed them away because I am still hurt from the promise they did not keep. I could have just forgiven them.

“Anne, you have visitors.” Jill walks into my room. “I am going to warn you its Teddy. He seems sorry for what he did. Just give him a chance.” Jill leaves my room.

          I did not think he would come. What does he want? I cannot return the present. It is one of a kind. Okay well there is more but I thought it was cute and I knew she would like it. That tea cup set is really cute. It has a picture of the Alice in Wonderland characters. Well the old ones not the Johnny Depp version. I have that tea cup set. I love Johnny Depp. I am losing the point. I have to go talk to Teddy.

“Anne, before you say anything just hear me out.” I nod my head. “I wanted to call you but every time I dialed the numbers I knew this would happen. Then Scar started talking about seeing you because she wanted to know you were okay. You cannot be mad at her. I was the one that told her not to call you. You know what happened after that. She called you yesterday and well you threw that tantrum at the park. And now I am here explaining to you why I have not called you.” Teddy moves next to me.

“Teddy a simple letter would have sufficed. And who are you to tell Scarlet what to do?” I punch Teddy’s arm. “You know that is why Scar loves you. She loves the fact that you do not control her. Now I am mad at her for listening to you.” Scar comes out from the kitchen.

“you didn’t have to tell him the reason why I love him.” I run to hug her. “I’m sorry anne. It was hard for me not to call you.” We start crying. “by the way it was my idea to name her anne. Well her name is violet anne but I call her anne.” Teddy joins in.

“I want to join.” Zane joins the circle.

“zane, if I were you I wouldn’t get near me.” teddy pushes zane away.

“I have to kick your ass.” Zane walks away from teddy. “I’ll catch you.” Teddy runs after zane.

          I can’t believe I’m friends with scar and teddy again. This is so cool. Plus teddy kicked zane’s ass. That was just so funny. Teddy caught up to zane in less than five minutes and teddy had zane pinned to the wall of the kitchen. Today was a great day. I wonder what’s going to happen tomorrow. I know it’s the twenty-third and all that but I have no clue what to do.

“anne,, could you please pay attention. could you please take care of Sirius. don’t take him out, just make sure he’s fine. Zane has an interview with the military and mr. black and I have to go Christmas shopping.” Mr. black groans.

          That can’t be good.

“yeah sure that’s fine.” Sirius jumps out from his chair.

“I get to be with mommy.” Zane drops his fork.

          Oh no way. Now I’m screwed.

“anne I would like to speak to you alone.” I follow him out to the living room. “what the fuck is going on?! Why is my kid calling you mom?!” zane starts screaming.

“look I told him he could call me mom when no one was around. Why he said mom right now? I have no clue. Now next time you scream at me I swear to god I will kill you. No one screams at me especially in my own house. Do you understand me? do you hear the words that are coming out my mouth?!” zane sits down. “I also told him to call me mom because he needs a mom. if he’s not going to accept his real mother than he should have a mom figure in his life.” I stomp out.

(ten minutes later)

“anne I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to snap at you but it’s just that I still some feelings for her. Not the feelings that I have for you but you get the point. She’s my son’s mom.” I pull my covers closer.

“get out of my room!” zane jumps on my bed.

“I’m not leaving until you forgive me.” zane straddles me.

“fine I forgive you just get out of my room.” I start to squirm. Zane kisses anne passionately and anne kisses back.
