Chapter fourteen

“Mommy!!!!!!!!!” Sirius says jumping on the bed.

“What?”I say sleepily.

“Grandma says to wake up” Sirius replies to my question.

“Finally you two are up. Anne we have to buy the food for new years. And plus we have to have lunch. We haven’t had a lunch with just the two if us.” Jackie reminds me.

“Um well I have a meeting with a designer at noon. But other than that I’m free.” I tell her scared.

“Okay so what we’ll do is go shopping for the food and then bring it to the house. After that we can go to the office for the meeting. Once you’re done with the meeting we can go to lunch.” Jackie says happily.

“I would have never thought of that. Now let’s go to the store.” I say excitedly.

“Okay now all we have to do is out everything where it belongs. Or we can get my dear husband to do it. I think that sounds better.” Jackie says happily.

“Hey honey I thought you weren’t coming until later.” Mr. Black says confused.

“Here take these to the living room and I’ll see you later.” Jackie tells Mr. Black handing him the bags.

“Okay I can’t believe Mr. Black didn’t do anything.” I say shocked.

“Next time do it to my son. It’ll work with him.” Jackie says to me.

“I’ll do it.” I say proudly.

“Now go to that the meeting while I talk to these workers of yours.” Jackie says evilly.

    I don’t want to know what she’s going to do. 

“Sorry I’m late I had some family issue to deal with.” I tell Jay and Kate. “Now let’s get to business. I’m sure you talked to your boyfriend about prices. Now Kate what price did you come up with?” I ask Kate.

“I came up with he gets twenty-five percent of all the profit we make. And he will get paid at the end of every month. Now all we have to do is agree on the price.” Kate says all business like.

“Well that’s what my boyfriend said. He also said that the twenty-five percent should only be temporary. It should only be five years then after that we can discuss it once again.” Jay says nervously.

“Okay well jay stop being nervous. You have nothing to be nervous. Kate here just needs to chill but she probably won’t.” I explain to jay. “Well that sounds good. Kate could you please write up the contract.” I ask Kate.

“Okay.” Kate says happily.

“She’ll have the contract by tomorrow afternoon. Just come by tomorrow in the afternoon.” I tell jay.

“Okay.” Jay says excitedly.

 “Well now that this is done I have to see what Jackie did to my store.” I tell them both.

“I can’t believe they never cleaned that part of that store. What do you want to eat?” Jackie asks me.

“I’ll have a pink lemonade and the chicken sandwich.” I tell the waiter.

“And I’ll have the same.” Jackie says.

“So the wedding is this weekend. Well we have a lot of work to do.” Jackie says deep in thought.

“Well I think she’s doing all of that.” I tell Jackie.

“I feel like I need to help her.” Jackie tells me.

“You should call her.” I suggest to her.

“I will.” Jackie agrees with me. “now let’s go home. I’m sure my grandson needs you right now.” Jackie says playfully.

“How was your day?” I ask Sirius.

“I stayed here.” Sirius tells me.

“Well in that case I think you need eat your dinner then go to sleep.” I tell Sirius.

“Okay.” Sirius agrees with me.
