He chuckled as he set the cake slices down on the nightstand. Giotto took the quill and the booklet out of May's hand and put them away. After that was done he laid May down putting the covers over her, then he noticed a scratch on her neck.

"What caused that?" Giotto asked aloud slightly worried. May stirred in her sleep causing Giotto to quickly leave the room with the cake he had brought in.

May woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. She quickly sat up causing her head to spin.

"When did I fall asleep?" May asked to no one. She shrugged it off and got ready for the day. Her shop was quite busy, so much so she didn't notice Asari come in to pick up the cake Giotto preordered. When things slowed down May's knee and shoulder were stiff and sore.

"I guess this is what I get for not listening to Knuckles or Gio for that matter." May muttered rubbing her shoulder. There where two men standing across the street from her shop talking every so often looking over. May shook her head and went back to cleaning the rest of the shop. An hour later the shop was closed and May was in her home.

"Who where those guys?" May wondered as she made dinner. A while later someone knocked at her door. She walked down the stairs but half way down her knee gave out and she fell on her butt.

"Merda." May muttered ribbing her knee. A knock came again this time quicker, so she stood up and slowly made her way down the rest of the stairs. To her surprise Giotto was there.

"Don't you normally just come in?" May asked laughing slightly. Giotto sheepishly scratched the back of his head and smiled.

"Well I didn't want to barge in." Giotto said. May stepped aside to let him in.

"So what's the sudden change of heart?" May wondered.

"G." Giotto said. May laughed and Giotto chuckled. The two headed up the stairs to the main part of the house.

"So there is a reason for you to come here." May said sitting next to Giotto on the couch.

"There is my love." Giotto said.

"Oh? What is it?" She asked now intrigued.

"Would you like to watch the sun set with me Saterday?" Giotto asked.

"Of coure Gio. I would love to." May smiled sweetly. Giotto mentally sighed and smiled handsomely at May who blushed and looked down. Giotto chuckled softly as he put an arm around May's shoulders genitally pulling her closer to him. May's blushed deepened but went away as she relaxed and mentally reminded her self that she was not twelve but was twenty two. They sat there enjoying each others company not talking just sitting. It grew dark but neither moved from their places.

"It's quite." Giotto muttered. At some point May laid her head on his shoulder.

"Uhuh." May muttered slightly nodding her head. Giotto relaxed and rested his head on May's, who was half asleep anyway. The two men from earlier saw their boss go into his lovers home and has yet to come out. They waited and waited but he didn't come out.

"I bet Miss. Amato is safe with Giotto." Aldo said looking at Carlo.

"Yeah." Carlo nodded. The two men left the area leaving the job to Giotto. May was the first to fall asleep, Giotto following soon afterwards. Morning came and the two lovers where still asleep on the couch. Silver orbs cracked open but subsided to sleep again enjoying the comfortableness and the warmth. The two staid like that for quite a while longer. Sky blue eyes slowly opened blinking back the sunlight that was shinning through the windows. Suddenly there was a loud bang on the front door startling May and Giotto awake.

"Wha?!" May said half asleep looking around.

"The door." Giotto yawned stretching.

"Oh." May yawned standing up and heading to the door.

"Hi G what brings you here?" May asked stifling a yawn.

"Hi May is Giotto here?" G asked slightly worried.

"Yeah he's here." May said. G sighed and nodded.

"Okay good to know. Stupid boss doesn't tell us when he leaves." G said but muttered towards the end. May laughed and a tired looking Giotto came down.

"Oh hi G." Giotto said waving a little.

"You need to come back and do your paperwork." G snapped.

"Don't wanna." Giotto said hiding behind May who just sweat dropped.

"Come on Giotto." G said dragging Giotto away. May laughed nervously and shut the door before heading back up stairs.

The week past quickly and Saturday was here. May closed her shop early so she could get ready for her first date with Giotto. Giotto was nervous and he kept glancing at a small black box. When it was time to go pick May up so they could watch the sun set, Giotto nearly forgot the box. May was extremely nervous, she was more worried that something was going to happen then it was her first date. Giotto knocked and waited for his girl.

"Hello, Gio." May said opening the door with a smile.

"Hello. Are you ready?" Giotto asked. May nodded, her wavy blond hair bouncing as she did so. Giotto held out his hand and May took it after closing the door. From there Giotto lead her to his favorite place to watch the sunset. The spot over looked the sea with the soft sounds of the waves hitting the rocks below. The sea breeze carried the sent of the salt water and the sounds of far off sea birds.

"This is lovely, Gio." May said turning to face him as the breeze slightly moved her hair.

"Yes you are." Giotto muttered captivated by May's beauty. May turned around to face the sea, she smiled and closed her eyes. Giotto saw this as the perfect moment to give it to her.

"May." Giotto said walking to her side.

"Yes?" May asked looking at him. Giotto held out a small box.

"This is for you." Giotto said. May took the box and opened it.
