"Hey couldn't I check up on someone I see as a sister?" G smiled.
"I guess you can. You better get back before Giotto decides to leave without finishing his work." May said.
"I think you are right May. See you around." G said before hurrying out of the shop. May smirked and shook her head.
"Well let's start cleaning." May said looking at Carmela. Carmela nodded watching May go back into the kitchen.

"May who was that?" Carmela asked after they had finished cleaning and were up stairs.
"He's my brother in every way but blood." May said looking up from what she was doing. "his name is G."
"Must be nice to have someone like that." Carmela said looking down.
"You do, well not a brother right now but a sister." May said smiling. Carmela looked over.
"Really?!" Carmela exclaimed excitedly.
"I wouldn't say that if I didn't mean it." May said in a matter of fact tone. Carmela was about to hug May but someone at knocked on the front door.
"Why don't you get it Carmela?" May asked picking up her things. Carmela nodded and went to see who it was. She opened the door to see a gravity deifying blond haired blue eyed man in a pin strip suit.
"Who are you?" Giotto asked his voice steelly as he glared.
"I'm Carmela Urbani." She said shrinking under his glare.
"Where's May?" Giotto asked narrowing his gaze.
"Up stairs." Carmela said quietly.
"Gio stop scaring the girl." May said from the top of the stairs. Both of them looked up at her. May was folding her arms and slightly glaring, but Giotto saw the hidden message in her eyes.
"Alright." Giotto nodded as he walked up to her. Carmela closed the door having a small case of deja vu and followed Giotto up the stairs.
"Carmela this is Giotto since he didn't introduce himself." May said motioning to Giotto. Carmela nodded as well as Giotto.
"Why don't you go to your room so May and I can talk." Giotto smiled kindly.
"Alright." Carmela said before going to her room.
"May you became Night again." Giotto droned when Carmela's door was closed.
"Yes I did and I should have told you sooner the reason why." May said walking over to the kitchen, Giotto followed curious.
"What's the reason May?" Giotto asked. May stopped and turned around.
"To protect my self, you, and your famgilia." May said.
"Oh. Why do you feel the need to do that?" Giotto asked.
"I don't feel the need Giotto but I feel better if I'm helping from the shadows." May said. Giotto nodded in understanding and thought.
"I see." Giotto said after a few minutes.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." May said turning to the stove were she was making dinner.
"I understand why you didn't May." Giotto said hugging her from behind his chin resting on her shoulder . May smiled and tilted her her head so it was resting on Giotto's.
"Where you angry?" May asked suddenly.
"I was at first but I started thinking that there was a reason you did what you have." Giotto said truthfully. May hummed in acknowledgement but said nothing which worried Giotto.
"Now are you angry with me?" Giotto asked.
"No how can I be angry with you Gio." May said while looking at him. Giotto sighed not finding a lie.
"Now are you staying like normal or not?" May asked as she somehow got out of the back hug.
"Yes I'll be staying but I'll be leaving sooner then normal." Giotto said now helping her. May nodded and smiled. Carmela was sitting at the desk that was in the room writing in a little booklet. She smelled the food but still heard muffled voices so she didn't leave the room.
"I hope everything is alright." Carmela muttered looking at what she was writing. It was a letter to her family that were all dead. She's been writing those kinds of letters every chance she got ever since they died. She went back to writing not finding anything else to do.
"Carmela dinners ready....oh what are you writing?" May asked coming over to the desk.
"Just something to keep my family's memory alive." Carmela said closing the booklet.
"I see, we all have our own ways and things that keep loved ones memories alive." May said looking down as she touched the scar on her face. Carmela nodded smiling sadly.
"Well let's go eat it's getting cold." May said after a moment of silence.
"Yeah." Carmela nodded. May walked out leaving Carmela alone.

After dinner Giotto left but not before telling May to watch Carmela for something bad will happen to her. Carmela had gone back to her room to finish the letter, while May sat on the couch cleaning her daggers she got from her father. Those pair of daggers she never uses, they are her prized possessions, they are the last thing she has of her past.
