A few hours later, Grim returns.
"Hello Eva."
Eva smiles "Hello Grim."
"Where is Death?"
"I don't know."
"I guess I'll haveto wait for him."
"Sooo who are you?"
"I'm a Grim reaper." He jokingly bows.
Eva laughs quietly.
"Who are you?" Grim askes.
Eva blushes. "I'm Evangeline." She bows jokingly back. Grim laugjs a deep laugh and Eva looks over at him.
"What?" He askes.
She blushes crimpson, "Nothing."
Grim laughs.
"So how long have you been working for Death?"
"About since the beginning of time."
"Wow."
"Yeah, were old."
"Yeah I see that." She frowns.
Grim laughs.
"Don't laugh at me!"
Grim laughs harder. Eva turns and starts to walk away saying over her shoulder,
"Your mean!"
Grim smiles, "We all are, but I'm sorry princess." He bows agian and Eva turns.
Blushing deeply, "Your forgiven. So why are you wasting your time talking to me?"
"It's not a waste of time."
"Yeah....it is."
"Time doesn't matter to us."
"But why would you want to talk to a girl like me?"
"I don't know."
Eva turns. Not facing him.
"What?" Grim askes.
Eva looks over her shoulder, "what?"
"Your sad."
"No."
"I can read your mind."
She sighs, "Of course you can."
Grim laughs. "Most of us can."
Eva turns back around. "I'm fine."
Grim doesn't belive her, but drops it.
"So what are you doing?" Grim says.
"I was waiting for Death, when a handsom guy walked in"
"Really? I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who walked in."
"Duh."
"Wait...." Grim looks at her. "What?"
Eva blushes. "What?"
Grim realizes what she meant and blushes. Death walks in and says:
"Grim, report."
"Finished sir"
"Good." And out walks Death.
Eva looks at Grim.
"What?"
Eva smiles shyly, "Er, I don't know."
Grim smiles shyly back. Eva stares at her feet. Grim laughs.
She smiles. "What?"
"Nothing."
"Sooo"
"So what?"
"I don't know." She laughs.
Grim smiles as War walks in.
"Where is Death?" War askes.
Eva smiles. "Hi War."
"Did I interrupt something?"
Eva glances at Grim, "uhhh" she blushes. Grim and War both look nervous. Eva looks back and forth between them.
"Whats wrong?"
Grim smiles uncomfortable. And Grim and War both say in sync:
"Nothing."
Eva stares at Grim. "Uh, okay."
War quickly leaves.
"Do you want to see the hellhounds?" Grim askes.
"Sure."
